Used them a few times but had issues with them awhile back when they replaced the Thermostats in my HW heater. I had no hot water?
Right after they left I left to go to Walmart for groceries when I returned I heard a hissing sound from downstairs? I looked around and saw hot water steaming everywhere on my floor and you could hear and see the WH dumping hot water from my overflow pipe all over my floor.
Seems the over temp sensor was bad open so it wound up dumping hot water everywhere. Talk about a nightmare I spent 4 hours wet vacuuming hot water and dumping it outside in 20 degree weather. I called up to complain the following morning about what happened they didn't say or do much just said sorry? So much for that lovely experience using Hacker Plumbing. All they had to do was check everything out before leaving but I guess they were in a hurry? Think they burned a bridge with me.

First, I will say the technical skills are there and the problem was fixed. That being said, the customer service is horrid. After having two different people recommend this plumber I called for an estimate and their response was the same as all others before, there is a quick cheap fix and there is the right way to do it. The right way to do it was still the lowest bid so I scheduled the work. I called the business several times to always be told the owner was not in at the moment and so I left messages three different times to never have those messages returned. One of the messages was to ask what time workers would show at my house and since the message was not returned this resulted in them showing up unexpectedly when no one was home and us having to abruptly leave work to let them in. Then as the work was nearly finished we realized they were only doing the quick fix and not want I had originally requested. Additionally, when the work was complete they just vanished from the home just left without speaking to us. No itemized bill was received only a number which was barely under what the ""correct way to do it"" was quoted. When I called to voice my concerns over my experience, I again had to leave a message since the owner was not present and again that message was not returned and those concerns never addressed.

WILL NOT USE ANOTHER PLUMBER!!! Only time in have every been so wrong about guessing price and loved it. Had 2 toilets fixed at my house. One was clogged and a plunger wouldn't do it. And the other was leaking around seal. Barely charged more than what some charge just to come out. So grateful I gave this guys a try despite the name haha. I will most certainly use again.
