These people are ridiculous. We called with a plumbing emergency. As in my faucet literally won't turn off. They stated they were unable to make it until Wednesday at the earliest. It's currently Monday morning at 10am. What the hell?

STAY AWAY!!!! I am extremely disappointed. Both of our bathrooms were clogged. A plumber came out and fixed them. He stated that his work has a warranty for 60 days. Within 6 hours which was also 4th of July (2016) weekend the bathrooms clogged up again. We called the 24 hour emergency number and spoke to an operator... SEVERAL TIMES.. They told us all they do is email or request for a plumber to come out but they would not respond until at least tuesday (3 days later). Why have a 24 hour number if you don't have a 24 hour plumber. I RECEIVED A CALL BACK 3 DAYS LATER BY THE ADMINISTRATOR. The administrator told me the ""BOSS"" was working that weekend so she doesn't know why he didn't send someone out. At one point we called the plumber on his cell phone he did not respond either. The 24 hour number stated ""we respond at any time including holidays""... THAT WAS COMPLETELY FALSE!!! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE..
Prior to writing this review I asked to speak to the supervisor or owner so they could explain to me why no one returned our calls. Its been a couple of weeks and I still have not received a phone call back from the owner. BAD SERVICE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Habit was a contractor for our Home Warranty company to fix a Hot Water valve that was leaking water all over the ground. They showed up late for the appointment time, and when I answered the door, would not get off the phone to talk to me. They said to give them a few minutes.

I walked out 5 minutes later to find them gone. They wouldn't return any calls that day to come back, so I had to have a reputable company (George's Plumbing, great company) come and actually fix the problem.

3 days later, I get a bill for the service fee from the home warranty company - Habit marked the service as complete and wanted $75. As best I could tell they did nothing that day, and couldn't even bother to ask me to write a check or talk to me. Our water heater is inside behind a locked door, so unless Habit has mastered teleportation, it is unlikely they even looked at the problem.

Additionally their business and phone hours are only to 4PM. That tells me they want to avoid supporting customers who have any problems the same day. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Multiple trips to my house, multiple times they didn't have the parts and had to come back another day. Never the next day and once it was more than a week before they returned. Then I made the mistake of calling management to voice my frustrations. Wes could not have been more rude and disrespectful. I would stay away from this company. They won't be in business much longer.

When we received our water bill, we were shocked because our usage was more than double. We suspected a leak but we cannot find any visible sign. Our knee jerk reaction was to call a plumber from Angie's list. Said plumber did a leak detection test for almost 2+ hours. He said that he cannot pinpoint the exact location of the leak but he recommended a re-pipe.

After the initial 3 shocks (1.water invoice, 2.slab leak 3. cost to re-pipe), we decided to call our insurance company for help. The home warranty insurance company directed us to Habit Plumbing. Nick of Habit Plumbing did a very thorough leak detection test that identified the exact spot of the slab leak. Due to Nick's diligence, he saved us money with the re-pipe job.

The house that I moved into seems to have a lot of plumbing issues, and I used the Home Warranty to get these fixed. They sent out Habit Plumbing twice and I found them to be very helpful, arriving on time, calling before they came, and able to fix the issues that I was having in a relatively quick time period. They were sink and toilet issues, so not terribly complicated, but something I couldn't do myself. I would recommend them.

STAY AWAY. Habit Plumbing is the worst plumbing establishment I have ever done business with. They came out to ""repair"" my water heater and did so by cleaning off the fan. That only put a band aid on the problem for three months and I am left without hot water again. I called, hoping they would apologize and offer to come out and fix the problem. They offered no sympathy and just said ""Sorry, the plumber that did work on your home is no longer with us."" and did not accept any responsibility. The home warranty wanted to dispatch them again and said they were not available to come out for 72 hours. In what world does a service based company think it is okay for their customers to be without hot water for over 3 days?

These people should offer a course on excellent service. Their technician, Gonzalo, called well-ahead of time and discussed with us exactly what our
needs were. He was polite and professional. He kept me up to speed on every detail (our property is in escrow and he was working from a Request for Repairs order). All work was completed quickly and efficiently. I could not have hoped for a better result. I would recommend Habit Plumbing without reservation.
