I contacted Al Haag & Son Plumbing about needing an estimate on a Steam Return Line replacement on my boiler. Al called me back & just by describing the work I needed gave me a quote on the phone but said he would send out one of his guys to asses the job in order to get a set price. Francisco came the next day & verified what needed to be done & gave me a quote but said Al would contact me and finalize the job estimate. I got my quote via email and I decided it was the fairest price I received so I went ahead and contracted them to do the work.

Once we settled on a day that would work for my schedule, Al told me when his crew would be expected to arrive & around how long is should take for the entire job to be finished. Mike & Tony were on time, came in & reviewed with me the work they needed to do. They were thorough, very efficient & clean with their work. I appreciated their attention to detail & patience with answering any questions I had about the work being done. They finished on time just like Al had estimated. His team exceeded my expectations! They needed to break through two wall areas that had tiles on them (Since I had the extra tiles saved from when that work was done) Mike said he would be back to replace the tiles he needed to break through. Which I truly respect his dedication to his work and customer satisfaction. Mike & Tony are true professionals! Which is hard to find these days.

I will be calling on Al Haag & Son for my yearly maintenance. As well as any of my plumbing & heating needs. I got what I needed done before it got too cold. For my experience with Al Haag & Son Plumbing, I will recommend this company to all my friends & family.

Pipe for the hot water in basement burst early morning last week. I called Al Haag & Sons Plumbing early that morning they said they would come in 90 minutes, came in 80, shut off the water, replaced the pipe and I was able to still make it to work before noon. Helped me a lot in a emergency and did a great job. Receptionist was friendly and caring about the situation and the plumber was a total pro. Thanks. They came through.

Not reliable. Called twice, both times I was told someone would come and take a look at my problem and no one ever showed up. Wasted 2 days waiting on them.

They changed the stem in my faucets for the shower/bath a few months ago. This was partly my fault, they did the job without giving me a price beforehand and sent me a bill which was phenomenally expensive. I mailed them two checks which they claim they never received. They kept harassing me for the money by ringing my bell when I wasn't home (my wife and kids were). When I tried calling I kept getting their voice mail. I did not leave a message (They did not cash the checks). I put stop payment on those checks. I mailed them a bank check certified mail. The post office left them a post card to pick up the envelope at the post office. They didn't pick it up for another two weeks until I called them and gave them the routing number for the envelope. They finally picked up Check and cashed it.

Recently the hot water handle was nearly impossible to turn. I called them 3 times. Left 2 voice mails and spoke to a woman. She said I will call you back and never did.

My daughter's best friend is dating a plumber's assistant. She had him come in and look at our shower handles. The system I have is American Standard. They put in non brand named parts. He spent 10 min here last night, to figure out what the problem was and came back today to put in American Standard parts.

I will never use Al Haag and Sons as a plumber and I suggest look for other plumbers before you do.

The heat in one of the floors in my home stopped working. We had no luck/bad experiences with a few well known businesses in the area. Francisco from Al Haag & Sons is patient, thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. I would highly recommend this business and continue to call on them for any heating/plumbing issues.

We had Al Haag Plumbing at our home on numerous occasions for both emergency and non-emergency situations. In addition to a quick response, the workers were always polite, knowledgeable and neat. Most recently we had a hot water heater that was leaking & with one call to Al in the morning we had a newly installed unit that afternoon. Highly recommend.

Run away!
They never answer phones. Leave a message and cross your fingers you'll get a reply within 4-5 days. When they do call back, they have no response to your question and/or concerns .Definitely interested in selling you products and service, but not in resolving your issue. No work ethics. All about the money, In addition, they seem to have a high turnover with employees.
Save your dollars for a company that takes pride in their work and has decent customer service.

I have nothing but good to say about Al Haag & Sons. They have twice saved my bacon.

The first time was when my 30+ year old boiler broke down on a very cold day. They came down almost right away and got the heat back on before I had to wrap the pets in blankets.

About a year later, the drain in my backyard became clogged, or so I thought. When the guy from Al Haag arrived he took one look at it and told me that things were far worse, that the pipes were almost certainly broken and would have to be replaced. He was right. They had to jackhammer the cement in my garage and basement to get at the pipes, but they were, in fact, crumbling. It took two men 2-1/2 days to get the old pipes out, replace them with new, then replace the concrete that had been removed.

I have no complaints with their work. It was done quickly (severe rains would have flooded my basement) and at a price that came in right around what my insurance company covered. And when they were done, they carted away all the pipes and related detritus, leaving nothing for me to do but breath a sigh of relief when torrents of rain hit two days later.
