Robert N.H2O has been taking care of my well and water system for 6 years. Every time I had a problem, they showed up promptly, addressed it, and charged a very reasonable rate. Very knowledgeable techs and Vince is outstanding! You are in good hands with H2O!
Very pleased with the quick response and the informed recommendation.
Every time I call I get a live person which is nice and easy direction to who I need to talk to.
Very happy with the service I have received.
They keep spamming me with over due bills when the bill has been paid and they have been repeatedly contacted about this issue.
We are extremely pleased with H20 Well Service, Hayden, Idaho. They are the best. They got our well installed quickly and did a fantastic job. They were courteous and always got back with us right away. Josh was in charge of our project. He was a pleasure to talk with and was always there for us. We highly recommend this company.
You can make anything work but the difference between a handy man and a specific contractor is craftsmanship. I've followed them on two jobs now and their work looks horrible. And if a installer doesn't care how something looks it shows they take no pride in their work.
First off they have 3 divisions in their company. Trust me, they will tell you that over and over. Was looking at a potential water softener install and needed a leak fixed. Vince said Tad can do both in our water softener division. Tad scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out and when he came, ""oh I'm in the water softener division I can't fix that leak. That's a different division."" Did you all know that H2O Well Srvices has 3 divisions? So, 3 weeks later we still don't have a water softener or leak fixed. Left vm with vince and nothing. Business must be good so I would recommend looking elsewhere. We did and are getting the problems resolved much quicker.
If you don't need or want the business, a simple phone call is all you need to do and we move on. Now, you have a bad review.
Hope this helps for people looking for service.
Nice folks. Vince, Jake and the office staff are awesome. Knowledgeable, efficient and reliable.
H2O Well Service drilled a new well for our neighbors, about 60 feet from our well, which caused our water to turn brown. I called and Mark called back within a few minutes. Mark walked me through how to flush our system and had another employee, Tad, contacted me soon after to follow up. I explained to Tad how our white laundry always came out brown when we used hot water and he came out to test and make sure our system was flushed because of the problem above.
The water tested, too much iron and acidic, 6.4. Tad's suggestion was to replace our 25 year old soft water system with one that reduced the iron content and another tank that sanitized the water and brought the Ph back to normal. Acid exasperates the effect of iron, causing yellow rings in the toilet, sinks, tub and laundry. The old system was a horrible installation with electrical wires hanging and plumbing mismatched, dissimilar metal, leaks. The new system looked very professional.
After installation Tad explained, about every three days the system would purge at 2:00 AM. and we could not use water during that time. I explained my wife went to bed very late, 6:00 AM and this would not work. Tad explained that in 24 years this situation had never come up and said not to worry he would get it fixed. A few days later he called and said he found a double tank system that was able to switch to the second tank while the first tank purged. He said the new system cost about $2,100 more but he would work on that.
The end result was we got a twin tank system that gives me WHITE t-shirts, a HAPPY wife, no yellow rings in the toilet and great tasting water, at no additional charge. Being in retail all my life, I know this cost the company a lot, they stepped up to plate because Tad failed to explain about the purging. I also know that getting good reviews does not come easy, only the people that have a problem or perceived problem give reviews. There are sometimes thousands of happy customers for every one, unhappy.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
I called them and informed them of the problem that I was having with my well. They came out 3 days later and troubleshot my well. They narrowed it down to a bad pump and scheduled a pump replacement. They came out and replaced the pump, the plumbing PVC and electrical. They also replace the pressure gauge in the pump vault During the pump replacement the technician performed a purge of the top 5 feet of the well only. They then connected the pitless connector back in place and secured the rest of the hardware.
After the reassembly was complete they waited for the well to recover and checked the water pressure. The pressure came up and then after about 15 mins of continuous running the pump began to suck air. This is the same symptom that the pump had prior to changing the pump. They told me that the well was probably plugged with iron and to get with them later and they would offer me possible solutions. They handed me a bill and we paid in full. They didn't purge the system prior to leaving nor did they bi-pass my filtration system. Shortly after they left the filtration was plugged up with the rust/silt from the well. It took me 2 full days to get the system cleaned out. The pump still draws the well down faster than the water can recover.
History on the well. The well is 80 feet, with last 20 feet screen in fractured to solid basalt. The pump is set at approximately 60 feet just above the screen. It was drilled in 1999. It has been up to recently capable of delivering steady water flow. I don't know exact GPM's but above 6 GPM is my best guess. I have owned the property for a little over 3 years and have little prior knowledge. Essentially it has been untouched for the last 19 years.
Northern Idaho is well known for having iron issues with the water table. This is a common problem with most wells in the region. A well company that has any history in the region is well aware that many wells will overtime become plugged with iron in their lifetime.
Here is where I feel that the company made mistakes and took advantage of me. I am not a well expert by any means but it would be very simple to trouble shoot the difference between a bad pump and a well that is not recovering as well as was in the past. Logical process; Test current well depth at rest (24 hrs of no use). If the well comes up to the same level as the original well log, then the water table is probably the same. That doesn't rule out a bad pump yet but one more test would determine that. If the pump doesn't come up to pressure as measured at the pressure tank gauge and the water level in the well is at the same level as recorded on the log, then one could conclude that there is a problem at the pump. My old pump would come up to pressure when there was water above it. At no time during troubleshooting was the water level checked. Had this been checked then they should have been able to ascertain the iron deposits were the cause. Aside from the pump and the iron content, had the water level not been at original levels then one could assume that the water table had dropped and the well may be going dry. Not the case.
$2500 +/- later I have a well that works marginally. I contacted Vince by phone and expressed my concerns. He agreed that they probably should have been more thorough when they purged the water line and well prior to charging the system. When I explained to him that the problem still existed he said ""Our job was to get water restored"". After several attempts to explain to him that marginal wasn't acceptable, he basically said that his company doesn't clean wells and he referred me to another company in Spokane that he said ""I send people to this company all the time for this kind of problem"". I ask a rough price to clean the well and he said, ""Approximately $2500"".
To summarize I am very dissatisfied with service provided by H2O Well Service. Although the old pump was probably near life cycle, it was not the cause of the problem. The iron build up in my well WAS the cause. They could have troubleshot this correctly and diagnosed the iron build-up, then referred me to his contact in Spokane. Like I mentioned this is a very common problem in this area. They clearly should've known this. In my opinion they saw opportunity to get extra money for an unnecessary pump replacement.
Joseph C.I want to thank the fine folks at H2O well service for helping us out last Thursday and Friday. We ran out of water about a week earlier. I was in a dilemma as to which is the best company to call and get assistance from in the area. I called around and was recommended by several people to have H2O do a diagnostic check of our well water system.
I spoke to Vince first. He was very helpful and dispatched a truck to our house the very next day. He was able to the finesse the schedule of one of the pump operators that was going to be traveling near our home in route from another job.
They sent Mark, who is very knowledgeable and professional. He's been in the business for over 19 years. Within one hour, Mark was able to troubleshoot the problem. He carefully took all of the measurements and notes from our well drilling report and also did diagnostics on the electrical system in the mechanical room and at the well head. Based on his equipment on his truck, he was able to analyze what type of pump and motor would be optimal to meet our home's needs.
Because of Mark's expertise and due diligence, I found out that the original pump and motor that was installed was not properly sized for our requirements.
Mark called in a report to Vince on the phone before he left our house. This was despite it being past closing time for their business. They were generally concerned that we didn't have running water in our house. Vince began to assemble all the components and equipment necessary for Mark to return the next day and install it.
What impressed me the most was Mark discovered that there was a PVC casement pipe that was deformed (warped from heat) about 6 feet below the well head. He had another truck dispatched to our location with a special tool that he had fabricated just for that purpose. He was able to cut the old PVC small section of the casing out. He then installed the proper size pump and motor along with new schedule 120 PVC pipe and an all new electric wiring harness.
Mark Took the time to show me all the problems with the old galvanized pipe in the well. It had rusty holes which caused leaks and prevented proper water pressure from coming into the house. He also recharged our 40 gallon water pressure tank with air to ensure the water pressure was optimal.
Again, I want to especially thank Mark who did such a fine job on short notice. Also thanks to Vince for caring so much that we get the problem resolved quickly.
Now my wife is super happy with the improved water pressure for doing dishes and taking showers.
Be blessed!
