Jeanne P.Rich, from h2o, came out to my house, diagnosed our problem and gave us a free estimate. We decided that it was something that my husband could fix and there still was no charge.
While he was at our house, I decided to ask him about the water softener that came with our newly purchased house. We had it turned off b/c one of our kids is on a sodium restricted diet. I wanted to know if he could bypass the drinking water (since our water softener uses salt) and just have it hooked up for the rest of the house. Rich advised we talk to our doctor first, because sodium might be absorbed through the skin, which would defeat the whole purpose of bypassing the drinking water.
In my estimation, Rich went above and beyond and we will definitely call him the next time we are in need of a plumber.
