H&R Plumbing was chosen by my home warranty company when I reported a sink leak in my kitchen. They came first time, was hardly here for 2 minutes, tightened some screws and told the issue was fixed. The issue happened again and raised a recall request. The technician came, did not listen to me on where the leak was and told this time it was problem with the faucet and it has to be replaced and told since it was different issue I have to pay for the visit. To me it was just one issue of sink leaking. If it was the problem with the faucet then what did you fix in the first visit? Why was not faucet fixed in the first visit? Why do you have to charge me multiple times for the same issue?

Anyway I couldn't argue with them so agreed to pay for the second time and asked to fix the issue. They fixed it yesterday and after that the leak still did not stop and I still have a leaking sink even after paying twice to fix the issue :(

I would really stressed out. My entire house was clogged. Plumber came and there's no clean out on the outside of the house. He said he'd have to go to the roof which would cost me $350. I'm a senior and live on a fixed income and did not have the money to pay it. He tried to go under the sink on the pipe and it worked he went above and beyond the Call of Duty and I'm so grateful.

This morning we had Jose from H&R come out as part of a Home warranty request and we could not be more pleased with the experience. He diagnosed and fixed the issue with our garbage disposal much more quickly than expected (even though we'd done extensive online research beforehand and had been unable to fix it ourselves). Moreover, he was incredibly nice and helpful, offering advice on our faucet installation that was unsolicited but really valuable. He even left us a tube of caulk to use to seal the faucet up once it was dry- totally above and beyond our expectations and initial request. I'm really grateful for the prompt, professional, and affordable service.

Horrible experience... H&R was dispatched by my home warranty company to fix the bath tub in my townhome. They needed to cut a hole in the wall in order to access the pipe & wanted to charge me $100 to do it.
After cutting the hole, Juan called me back and he still couldn't access the pipe and wanted me to give him permission to cut another hole. I asked him how confident he was that the 2nd hole will do the trick. He told me no guarantee. I may end up having to take down my door.
That was when I told him to stop what he was doing & my husband ended up cutting the 2nd hole so they can fix the pipe.

I just had a great experience with H & R. We just moved into a new house and as part of the purchase we got a 1 year warranty with Fidelity Home National Warranty. We used that service to book the appointment, but they do tell you who they've assigned. I looked up H&R and saw the 3 stars and was a little hesitant, but going through the warranty while you have it, is the way to go.

Anyway, after filling out the form on the home warranty site, these guys responded within 2 days and offered to come out that afternoon when they called. I booked them and then I had to reschedule on them last minute because I thought my wife would be home at that time but got stuck at work. They were polite about it and offered to come between 8-11am on a Saturday.

Jose arrived at 9:15am, and he had our issued fixed in about 10 minutes. Our washing machine was only feeding in hot water, and as I suspected and he confirmed, it was a plumbing issue and not the machine. A previous plumber had crossed the hot and cold lines feeding into the machine, he also noticed a small leak and touched that up. On top of that, I asked if he could take a quick peak at our guest bathroom tub as the hot water was only going to a certain temp. He recognized the manufacturer and showed me a very quick fix that I can do myself to regulate the heat. I'll keep these guys in mind for non-warranty issues in the future.
