Cannot recommend H&N Plumbing and Heating more!!! 10 stars! Last summer, I had a small amount of water in the basement - nothing to have me SUPER concerned, but enough to want to call in an expert. I come from a family in the trades, but plumbing is one area that I don't have ""a guy"" or an uncle to help out in the area. I'd never called a plumber, and found a H&N magnet on in the basement and decided to give them a shot.

H&N is a family owned business and as small as it gets. My understanding is that it's a husband & wife, and two sons that work in the company. They were so easy to work with, talk to, and quick to come out and help.

While there, they helped with a few things that I hadn't even originally discussed. They bill by the hour and helped me understand how much certain fixes would take - we're talking hundreds (if not over a grand) less than other local businesses!

The last time they were out, I received an invoice in the mail and promptly misplaced it. Never once did they follow-up or bug me for payment. Months went by until I finally got to sending through a check and I'm so thankful they were understanding!

After going through a number of poor to fair plumbing companies I started using H&N about ten years ago on the recommendation of a friend. They are a local family owned business. Their last job for me was to replace my home HVAC this past March. They were less expensive than the other estimates I received and did a super job - they never tried to oversell me on more than I needed and the system worked well all summer and is working well this winter. Installation was on time and they followed Covid restrictions as expected. The other big plus for me and friends who have used them is that they are excellent at troubleshooting problems. I had bad experiences before hiring H&N that cost me a lot of money. Besides a new home HVAC , some of the jobs over the years - they have replaced toilets, replaced faucets (inside & outside), replaced my hot water heater, and replaced my water softener. Great job on everything.

What a wonderful, honest family owned business !
They have taken care our plumbing and heating needs for over 20 years.
Just had another wonderful experience with a broken pipe in the wall which H & N fixed. Expecting the worst, we prepared for for a major mess to redo drywall and repaint.
They came over and located the source of the break and ""surgically"" addressed the problem with only a 9 inch by 10 inch cut to the drywall.
We highly recommend them !!!
