We've used this company twice in the past month and they are AWESOME! My husband was so pleased with their work that they are the only plumbers we will be working with from now on. David responded quickly and during this time of Covid-19, demonstrated all safety precautions regarding masks, social distancing, etc.! Hooray!

So this plumbing company came out to my property look at work and said they found the problem. So I agreed to let them fix the problem. To turning around and have leaking coming down the same pipe long story short before they touch that one pipe they should have
Investigated the whole problem. And after getting more plumbers out. Realize they rip my off for 600 dollar.

This company is shady. I went with them because initially i thought they would be professional as their yelp reviews were good but nonetheless I was proven wrong. I requested work on 2/18 and the job is still not done. They will step on your carpet with their dirty wet shoes and not care where they are stepping on. There was a standstill as there was a dispute on the initial quote. I requested to have the toilet moved and they were pushing me to do a full remodel. They will charge you for things that you did not agree on and take your deposit. They will also ""schedule"" you on days that you did not request and CHARGE you $100 per service even after I asked if they charge and they said ""no"" (i probably asked like 5 times). They broke my first floor ceiling because the tech was negligent and stepped on the drywall rather than the supporting beam. They said they ""patched"" it up and ""fixed ""it but WRONG. The first floor ceiling is unfinished since their ""repair"" as the ceiling has no plaster or tape to it. I am still going back and forth with the contractor at the moment. Maybe I'll change my review but so far this has been a Horrendous experience.

We have been calling H Mechanical with all our plumbing problems for a few years now. Every single time they go above and beyond to help within a very short time frame.
I love how professional and super friendly David and Dereck are. We have used them both in our home and office, and we will happily keep calling H Mechanical.

I contacted this company due to the overwhelming positive review (7) since I was looking for a reliable and reasonable plumber to fix a toilet clog and valve leak. I was initially delighted to hear that they do not charge for travel time to come to provide an estimate.
While the response was quick and they came on the same morning, I would say that the charges for the repairs (which are not major and just took over 1 hr) were EXPENSIVE. The charges came to $385.00 for less than 1.5 hours of work and some parts! I could have bought a new toilet and got it installed for that amount. So unless you are willing to pay extra, beware of high charges. I have to say, so far I have not found any reasonably priced plumber.

AWESOME! We had a tricky issue that involved rodding out the vertical pipe in our 100 year old condo building, and Dave and Dereck were able to take care of it without having to cut into walls etc. Highest integrity, skill and very reasonably priced. They will be our go-to plumbers from now on!!

Called H.Mechanical a few days ago because my toilet wouldn't flush. I tried unclogging it myself, but it didn't work. Gave them a call and a young lady answered the phone and was very nice and professional. They were available that same day, but chose to have them come out today because i knew i would be at home.My appointment was between 7:30-8:30 am and Dereck arrived at around 8am. He was nice, professional and efficient. Come to find out, i had an eyebrow shaper stuck in my toilet, so all i could do was laugh.

They travel all throughout the city, unlike most plumbing companies I've come in contact with...and they're black owned, which is a plus for me. Will be calling them to replace my faucet soon and if any other issues come up in my condo. This will now be my go to plumbing company! :)

A pleasure to work with, I can't recommend them enough. After leaving messages for several services on Labor Day, David answered his phone immediately and said he'd do his best to fit us in that day (a holiday!). It turned out he wasn't able to, but called to tell us so (which meant a lot, we weren't sitting around waiting) and in order to accommodate my having to take my son to school the next day, agreed to come out to our house at 7am the next morning.

Installed our new kitchen sink faucet in less than an hour and fixed a broken pipe for a very reasonable fee.

Coincidentally, I discovered later that same day the garbage disposal had gone kaput. They fit me into their schedule the next day, installed a new disposal AND installed a new fixture in our upstairs bathroom which had been leaking.

Very professional, highly recommend for any plumbing job and they'll be the only people I call the next time I need a plumber (hopefully not anytime soon!)
