I had a hose-bib shut-off valve that was hard to open and close. This is the valve used to shut-off water in the hose-bib line to protect from freezing. I wanted to get the valve replaced before the winter so I called H&M. I dealt with H&M several yrs back and was expecting a similar experience. Just like yrs back, H&M arrived on-time, they listened to my concerns, and what the kind of repairs I was open to. Knowing that I don't know plumbing, I asked the plumber what would he do. He suggested disassembling / cleaning the valve. I agreed and expressed that I understood the valve may be too far gone to save. H&M cleaned, reinstalled, and tested the valve; and it worked perfectly. I continue to be very pleased with the outcome. H&M is two-for-two in my book. Next time I need plumbing service, I'll be calling H&M first.

TERRIBLE experience with H&M Services H&M Services really let us down! We have had our house for about 20 yrs and of course, it's been long enough, the dryer vent has become clogged. Then we realized that it is the flimsy accordion style vent tube and decided to get the smooth hard vent installed. Called H&M either Thu or Fri, now 2 weeks ago. They said they would be out to give us a quote Tues. Then they called Tues to tell us they needed to reschedule for Thurs. My mother-in-law asked if they would be ready to do the job since we can't use our dryer until the job is done. The representative said they would be ready to the whole project on Thurs. So they came out LAST WEEK, gave us a QUOTE for $850 and told us they would be here TODAY at 9am to do the job. Thats a week later. They wrote on the quote that they would replace the vent with 4inch hard pipe, cut the dry wall, and that would not include fixing the drywall. Today they called to say they were running late. Would be here between 11am - 1pm. Showed up without calling at 1:20pm. Then DECIDED that they would need to run the vent on the outside of the wall, all along the laundry room and then out the ceiling, and to the side of the house. It's now been 2 weeks waiting on H&M Services, without use of our dryer, and we are back to square one. Hopefully we'll be able to find a competent company this time. Working with them has been a total waste of time.

Great guys that do great work. They said they would arrive at 10 and arrived at 10 sharp. They were very professional and were able to quickly analyze and fix the problem. Would highly recommend.

Woke up and it was freezing in the house. I left a message at H and M that I had no heat , and of course, it was the coldest morning of the year. They called back within an hour and said he had two other calls but should get there around 11am. About 1045, I received a call from Brent at H and M saying he is on his way and should be there in about 30 minutes. He came in, figured out what was wrong, had to go pick up the part, and everything was working again by 2pm. It seemed like a reasonable amount of money to pay for the part and the services. ($345) Couldn't be more happy with Brent, H ad M, their response time, and their prices.

Four weeks after moving into our new home, we noticed a reduction in our hot water pressure. We looked on Yelp for a local plumber and saw H&M had excellent reviews. Harry came out the day we called. He quickly solved the problem, explaining everything as he worked. We were impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We're also very pleased with his rates. Harry's son, Brent, works in HVAC. We've had him service our home and prevent a future problem. We're also very impressed with his honesty, great service, knowledge and rates. If we ever have another problem, we'll definitely be calling H&M. Thank you, H&M, for your excellent quality service!

On Memorial Day weekend, our home A/C stopped working with really high temp heat out!! Called H&M and Brent came out mid morning on the Sunday before Memorial Day and fixed us up! Very professional and knowledgeable about the issue. Even fixed a problem with our hot water heater while he was here. Great service and prices were very good. Don't hesitate to call them! We will ALWAYS trust H&M!

Harry is an honest business man. Although he may be a bit more expensive than other places, I know the work will be done correctly without any worries. This is worth the extra cost. He will not upsell one on items they do not need. I highly recommend H&M Services.

I recently inherited my mothers house. I'm not familiar with the septic system and one of the toilets was clogged. I called H&M the day after Thanksgiving and received a prompt return call from the owner himself! Harry (the H in H&M) came out to inspect the problem and try to figure out what was wrong. I have never had such a great experience with a plumber! Harry was patient and he explained exactly how septic systems work and he also fixed my toilet that was clogged. He was very straightforward and did not try to talk me into any services or items that I did not need. He took his time inspecting any potential plumbing issues around my house and even looked at the gas line for my grill for me! If I ever have the need for a plumber in the future I will definitely call H&M!!

Great in an emergency! I came home to find water gushing out of the garage due to our 10-year-old water heater finally having gone bad. Harry, the owner, answered my call himself, walked me through shutting off the tank, and promised me someone would be out in an hour. He gave me quotes over the phone for a couple of options on replacement water heaters. Joe arrived on time and I paid what I was quoted. Harry and Joe were both professional and courteous. Thanks, guys! You saved the day!

Don't know if this is common with all plumbers, but I called at 8 am on a Saturday, and had my call returned on a Monday. Just wish the answering machine would let you know that they don't work weekends.
