I just bought a used mobile home and called them to do Thousand of dollars in upgrades. The guy that answered the phone did not address the name of the company and he sound like I was interrupting his coffee break. So had the wrong number and hung up. Two days later I called back hoping to get a real worker on the phone. I believe the guy that answers the phone either hates his job or trying to lose major business for the company. I ask to speak to the manager and he said I am the manager. I knew he was lying because I knew the managers name. I don't want people I cant trust in my house or around my family. Great flyers but I throw them all in the trash. Check BBB

My husband and I called this place twice. Both times the guy was rude and made it clear he did not want our business with his attitude.

I called H & M to ask if they can come to my Manufactured home to give an estimate on replacing 4 or more door frames with new doors. Was rudely told that it wasn't enough work to interest them and that I could just do it myself since they think it's a small job. Unprofessional.

Had them replace my water heater. The price was fair, about $800 and I had $500 so I told him I would call next month when I got my disability to schedule the job. He said no problem, took the $500 and the job was done. When I got my disability I called to pay the balance and have them hook up a new dryer bc the place wouldn't do any installation on mobile homes. He sent 2 differentbuys over who collected the balance I owed and then proceeded to TAPE my vent to the floor. There was tape all over and that was it and then he wanted to charge me another $300. I don't pay for tape so that wasn't happening. I'd avoid this guy like the plague.

I know there are a lot of bad reviews on here but we have had no problems. we used them years ago to have a metal roofover put on and love it!! Also used them to replace our garden tub with a walk in shower and they took a very small shower out and put in a small closet. All the crews that came out were very professional and did excellent work.

Recently we had tornado damage to our home. We lost our porch roof, some skirting and lose siding. We called another place to come give an estimate and 3 weeks later still did not have an estimate from them. We called H & M and they were out the next day. They gave us an estimate to replace all the skirting which we didn't need, but ours was old and we told them to go ahead. I'm glad we did. It is much heavier than what we had and they put wind bracing up all around. It cost a little more than some other people in our area paid to replace theirs but ours is much heavier and has the wind bracing which the others don't.

They replaced our porch roof for about half of what I was able to get pricing for from other places and it looks great. We will use them again for sure!

These people wont do anything for me again.I had H&M put one of their roofs on that they brag up.When I got home from work Howard met me at the truck demanding payment and said they were in a hurry.I told him earlier that I work construction and never get home at the same time so there was a good chance I wouldn't be there.He said no problem and that I could send the rest later.Well since they were waiting I wrote him a check and away they went.(My stupidity) After they left I started looking at the roof. Some sheets were longer than others, the edge wasn't consitant and there was dents all over it from walking on it.The roof is made out of material about as thick as a soda can.Then a week later he called and told me they were coming to put my roof on!!! I laughed and asked if they were gonna do it right this time!! I told Howard he already put it on and I told him the issues,he said that happens and hung up.A week later he called again and wanted to put my roof on.I said you did already but never will work for me again.Ok that's not everything but should be enough.Also ask to see the warranty,what a joke.

Howard is a fast talker, writes contract and then doesn't honor it. Was contracted to do complete replumb, only did easy pieces, under sink. Didn't replace ANY of the piping under floor! Didn't replace any elbows or fittings behind showers or washer. Was supposed to replace belly fabric on 1 AND 1/2 of my home (90 feet). ONLY replaced 24 feet and left rest all cut up and open so pipes froze this year! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. So I took to court, he had cheesy lawyer and lied about what contract was and bad mouthed his own employees! Stay away from this man and company!

Just called with a simple question, and based on the answer and/or service provided, I would have hired them for additional work. The guy that returned my call was unbelievably rude, curt, condescending, and simply seemed like grumpy old bastard that is completely checked out. NO WAY I'll hire this company for a several thousand dollar remodel I have planned. If they can't even talk on the phone with any interest, why would I expect they'd be professional elsewise. What a prick.

I contacted H&M for our kitchen remodel. Benjamin Welcker came to our home first. I explicitly told him that I would remove old cabinets and they would have a clean slate because I wanted to install new drywall on the walls before construction (the home is 1987).

He thought it would be best if his ""counter man"" came and took better measurements for the quote..... and I explained to him as well that he would have a clean slate with bare new walls, though minor relocation of plumbing would need to be done. And he understood. The counter man gave me insight to our project that would help his installation and help our dream kitchen be possible.

When I received the phone call for the quote ($8800) , I was told that ""They prefer to do all the work themselves"" to guarantee the work. I was also told I could have the 2 windows replaced .... ANY SIZE.. at $200ea. since we are having multiple projects done.

This was to be financed through H&M. When Benjamin returned with the paperwork, I questioned the high price and if they were indeed going to replace the drywall as I had previously described. THEY WERE NOT. They wanted $8800.00 to install 2018 cabinets on outdated 1987 walls. Not including updating/re-locating electrical outlets to current GFI standards. And the 2 windows climbed to $400 each overnight.

When I insisted that I wanted the price dropped to figure in that I WAS GOING TO REMOVE OLD CABINETS AND INSTALL NEW WALLS... the response I got was.... ""We Don't Need Your Work And I Will Have To Talk To Howard"" and he left.

I was certainly straight forward with TWO employees so there was no doubt as to my expectations. I'm glad I read the reviews and asked questions Before the paperwork was signed !!!!!!! Just bad customer service if you ask me. BE WARNED

Had two doors replaced and new roof put on my home, NEVER have I seen such poor workmanship in my life The roof looks horrible, and the owner is as nasty as they get, Please do not hire this company to do any work on your home, as it is also way over priced and they do a crappy job
