we contacted them to do skirting. Was quoted 4700.. fine. Sales person Billy gets here and says we need wind brace.. throwing in for free.. I specifically ask about doing behind our deck/ramp. He said it will be tight but they should be able to do it. Installers get here and knock on my door and ask me to move my car. Then tell me btw... we can't do behind the deck.. there's no F@cking way... he proceeds to call the owner.. HOWARD.. who then puts me on 3 way so they can all yell and curse at me. Because we didn't have ""down money."" We had partially financed this transaction and Billy said we didn't need to out anything down.. even tho we offered to. Continue cursing and now HOWARD and Co won't answer the phone. Stay away. Abusive company?

I've had the rudest encounter With h and m. Disrespectful rude
Try to charge me $500 for free estimate. Advertising free estimates then I call and they wanted yo charge $500.. that say SCAM ALL OVER IT...

IM ALL FOR SMALL BUSINESS. BUT THIS GUY WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE BUSINESS WITH THE AMOUNT OF TERRIBLE REVIEWS left by everyone he has rudey hung up on.

We had H&M come out to give an estimate for putting a covered porch on our home.. the estimator arrived on time and had great understanding of what was required.. Two weeks later 2 guys were here and the job was underway.. The craftsmanship and level of detail were fantastic The main gentleman working on the job isn't just a carpenter he is a true craftsman. The deck is 7x16 TREX with a white railing and black metal balusters.. The roof is set on our home roof overlapping so we got great height as that was a real concern.. The under structure used the best pressure treated wood available.. They put the skirting up and really all I had to do was buy the decorations.. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND H&M for all your Mobile Home Needs...

I never wrote a review before but the treatment from Howard is beyond the most unprofessional business person I have ever spoke to. Howard wouldn't even explain the scope of the work that he was going to charge my mother $500 to perform. Hung up on me twice! Told me he doesn't need the business and doesn't want the business. When my mother had work done by them a few years ago, she said she was spoke to very rudely by a man from H and M. She gave him the benefit of the doubt and said it sounded like he had mental illness. It had to be Unprofessional Howard and based on the many other 1 star reviews, it makes sense. Howard is just a rude, bitter person. in fact 1 Star is too high of a rating for such an unprofessional, ignorant person...

Today I called H&M home remodeling for a floor repair and the owner of the company was the most unprofessional and rude person. Before I could tell him the problem he hung up on me . I wanted to explain and tell him I wanted them to also put new skirting on my home as well. My hot water heater caused floor damage by leaking. I would have been a good and loyal customer to them they had previously put new windows into my house and did a great job I am needing a few things done like a bathroom remodel along with the new skirting. I would not use them ever again someone else will get my money .if you want to have professional people do your job and be treated with respect don't use them .H&M remodeling in ManchesterPa.17345.

I have never written a review before but I plan on posting once a month about this horrible ""business"". I am still baffled. Howard is an idiot and does not know how to write a proper letter. HIs spelling and grammar is atrocious! I had to write an $8,000 check to even get ""their best guy"" out to see me. Steve came out last Saturday, May 7, 2022 and by the following Saturday, May 14, 2022, Howard had returned my check (written out to my husband, although I am the one who wrote the initial check. We don't share the same last name OR bank account. Such a sexist, Howard!), with an awful note attached saying that we wanted all sorts of things we NEVER asked for! How does this happen in 5 business days! By the way, Howard, if you would like to hear the entire 42 minute and 48 second conversation my husband and I had with Steve, I'd be happy to send it to you. Or you can hear it when I post about your horrible ""professionalism"" on my blog. Also going to the Better Business Burueau, Howard. Moron. Go back to school!........and do better!

I just bought a used mobile home and called them to do Thousand of dollars in upgrades. The guy that answered the phone did not address the name of the company and he sound like I was interrupting his coffee break. So had the wrong number and hung up. Two days later I called back hoping to get a real worker on the phone. I believe the guy that answers the phone either hates his job or trying to lose major business for the company. I ask to speak to the manager and he said I am the manager. I knew he was lying because I knew the managers name. I don't want people I cant trust in my house or around my family. Great flyers but I throw them all in the trash. Check BBB

My husband and I called this place twice. Both times the guy was rude and made it clear he did not want our business with his attitude.

I called H & M to ask if they can come to my Manufactured home to give an estimate on replacing 4 or more door frames with new doors. Was rudely told that it wasn't enough work to interest them and that I could just do it myself since they think it's a small job. Unprofessional.

Had them replace my water heater. The price was fair, about $800 and I had $500 so I told him I would call next month when I got my disability to schedule the job. He said no problem, took the $500 and the job was done. When I got my disability I called to pay the balance and have them hook up a new dryer bc the place wouldn't do any installation on mobile homes. He sent 2 differentbuys over who collected the balance I owed and then proceeded to TAPE my vent to the floor. There was tape all over and that was it and then he wanted to charge me another $300. I don't pay for tape so that wasn't happening. I'd avoid this guy like the plague.
