We built our reputation as a reliable plumbing contractor by constructing new homes and providing service and repairs for existing buildings.

Initially a small family business, we have transformed into one of the most reputable plumbing, heating, and air conditioning companies in Southern California. In 2000, we broadened our service offerings by integrating John K. Keefe Plumbing, a well-known name on Los Angeles' Westside since 1940, along with Burt Plumbing, a Hollywood landmark since 1920.

Today, no job is too large or too small for Moe Plumbing. We have the expertise and tools to deliver high-quality plumbing, heating, and air conditioning solutions. The president and owner of Moe Plumbing is Mike Davis. Since taking on his leadership role, Mike has significantly grown the business from a small family-owned operation to one of the leading plumbing contractors and service providers in Los Angeles. Mike is actively involved as a trustee for the National Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association, Union Affiliated Contractors (NAPHCC UAC), and is a member of the California Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA), Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for UA Local #761, and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE). As a Biola University alumnus, Mike is involved in community service, including volunteering as a lay counselor.

I live in Seattle WA and my dad lives in west los Angeles calf.
I called Moe plumbing to repair or replace my Dads attic fan that he thought was going out.
The person on the phone was very helpful and said they could get someone out .
The Tec came out and did some adjustments and said it looks fine !!
My 91 year old Dad was happy and the price was right.
What is nice the guy could of sold my dad a new unit but said it is working great
Moe plumbing also last year and snaked a drain and did a great job.
By the way there is so many rip offs out there its bad.
Oh by the way I am a retired service plumber with 30 years in Seattle
I would recommend Moe plumbing .If a job went south they can fix it

I've had bad experiences with businesses in the past, but none that have ever affected me so much as to go on Yelp and write a scathing review. Thanks, Moe Plumbing, for being the first. I feel like a newbie at open mic night. But I'm so mad this just has to get out, all my friends are tired of hearing about my plumber nemeses. *Ehem* In November, just in time for some cold nights, we were told I needed a new wall heater in my apartment (managed by our somewhat elderly female landlord; this will become relevant later). Simple, right? Well, fast forward to February and the darn thing is only *just* now working after countless days of me not being able to enter my apartment due to THREE, I repeat, THREE failed city inspections of Moe's attempts to install a heater. Wall plastering was torn out and left on my floors, paint/wall dust it turns out I'm allergic to coated my electronics and furniture in a way that was clear they'd made no attempt to cover/clean up their work, and they even left a gaping hole in the bottom of my wall so that I could see/hear the poor guy in the unit beneath me for over a week. It's not hard to tape some cardboard over that temporarily, come on.

It was truly some of the most thoughtless, shoddy work and appointment management I've seen in my life (I've had contractors in my family, so I'm no idiot with this stuff). My landlord, who has no reason to be dishonest with me, claimed that the offices ignored her calls after a certain point, and did not bother to return them until weeks later. This should have been a simple repair/replacement, and turned into a MONTHS long ordeal that affected my health and work. Sounds like I'm exaggerating, but when you work from home, and are told the day before that good ole' Moe Plumbing is going to be drilling and hacking away in your apartment from 9 AM until god knows when... Additionally, the mess they left from the plaster for me to clean up left me with a mysterious cough. These are old apartments. I don't even want to think about what's in these walls, but apparently Moe didn't think about that either. Just in a different way.

TL;DR: Heater broken at the beginning of winter? Moe Plumbing *might* fix it...just in time for spring!

Also, my lamp they moved is broken. I just noticed. Cool.

It is great to know that when I need any plumbing repairs done right, fast without worries, I just call Moe. I've always said they are like calling the Cavalry because they respond immediately and their prices are more than fair. Everyone there is friendly and helpful from the person answering my call to every tech they have sent me. I have used them for 18 years now and wouldn't think of using another plumber.

A good friend recently completed a trifecta by managing to finally throw up in our bathroom sink after previously throwing up in both the toilet and shower on previous occasions. Sadly the sink isn't as resilient as the shower and toilet and it was severely clogged.

After a few trips to Home Depot, various gallons of random chemicals and attempts at snaking it myself we called Moe's.

I consider myself a Mr. Fixit, and have replaced valves, faucets, toilets on my own. But there have been times that I required a little more expertise. That's when I have called MOE. I have called them from time to time over that last several years. They have replaced my water heater, cleared a clogged sewer line, replaced a difficult to access faucet, replaced a pressure release valve, and gone under the house (a place I refuse to go). They are pros, arrive on time, fix it fast, and do it right. I recommend them without reservation.

I own a couple small rentals. I had a tenant call me when I was out of town complaining of a broken water line in the house. I tried to help explain how to turn off the main line into the house. After 10 minutes of trying to explain how to turn off the system I told Tanya the renter to hold tight and I will have a plumber ASAP coming to help. I called Moe's plumbing and they were so helpful. I had a plumbing technician at my house in less then 20 minutes. Yes I had to replace the carpet but it could of been a lot worse.

Moe plumbing recently provided service for me when it was raining heavily last week. There were issues with my water heater and they came within 3 hours. The tech was really knowledgeable and walked me through everything he was going to do. They fixed the problem and gave me tips on how to prevent this from happening again. I don't know why Moe gets such bad reviews. This is the second time I've used them and they have always been professional and experienced. It's hard to trust a plumbing service these days.

I have used Moe Plumbing in the past and have had both good and bad experiences, but what just happened has caused me to write my first Yelp review. Last August I had them replace my water heater. Although they were slightly more expensive, at that moment I thought they were reputable. After the work was done I gave the plumber my credit card to pay and thought nothing more of it until last night. Upon checking my current credit card statement there was a new $1500+ charge from Moe, dated last Saturday, when I know I hadn't had any work. I immediately called my credit card company to report the fraud and cancel the card. Today I heard from Moe that it was the charge for the August work, which they'd never bothered to run in August. They never thought to let me know what had happened, so I get to deal with the consequences of having cancelled the card. Incidentally the amount on the invoice and the amount they charged are slightly different. Why would I ever deal with a company who runs their business in such a shoddy manner.
