I had called HJacks to snake the drain in the kitchen and bathroom of my rental property. I had them replace my furnace at my primary residence a year prior so I thought they would be reasonable and trustworthy.

The job is very simple. I have snaked the drains before and could have done the job myself but called them due to having other more time sensitive matters. They charged 495 and I agreed as it would save some time.

Then they called and tried to tell me they need to jackhammer the foundation and replace the pipe under ground because water from the kitchen drain was coming up from the foundation. They said the job is 4400$ and completely necessary. This was a complete lie, as there was a corroded valve above the wet spot in the basement, it was dripping onto the floor and not coming up from under the foundation. Replacing the valve is a 20$ fix. I told them to proceed without replacing the pipe and just to snake it. In the end the kitchen pipe was fine just as I had thought.

Then when snaking the bathroom drain which they claimed would be an easy job, they somehow broke the pipe in the wall with the snake. Now the drain is leaking into the wall though the subfloor and into the floor joists. They said they would fix THEIR mistake for 2600$. This happened after refusing to pay the 4400$ scam from earlier.

In the end, instead of solving the problem I had, they tried to create problems to solve. They caused damage to my house and have not tried to solve the problem. They turned and easy job into a big expense. If I knew they would have broke the drain in the wall I would have just done the job myself. Here I am 495$ later with a bigger problem to solve that they caused. I strongly do not recommend HJacks

My dad, who is 95 years old, had a problem with his AC not working. I called H Jack's plumbing for service. The technician troubleshot his system and said that a board was bad in the furnace. He showed me which one it was and said as old as the furnace was (11 years) that the part would be hard to find, it'd be better to replace his system with new. He gave a quote of over $4000.00 to get the board and install it or over $7000.00 for a new system. I tracked down a new board for $160.00 and replaced it and the AC still didn't work. My dad was ready to have them put in a new furnace/AC and I decided to replace the thermostat on a hunch. Well guess what....everything works! A $40.00 thermostat fixed everything. H Jack's was about to charge him over $7000.00. Their technician misdiagnosed the problem and they were about to take advantage of a 95 year old senior citizen. DISGRACEFUL!

I had gotten a magnet in the mail, so I called them when our toilet was backed up.

I should've known right off the bat when the guy was rude on the phone was that I was in for a bad experience. But I needed a plumber ASAP and I really didn't know who else to call.

The tech who came out was nice but they're pricing model is designed to rip people off.

They charged $500 for snake and that didn't do the job. Then they wanted another $300 to run a camera and then another $900 to run the Jetter.

$1,700 to fix the clog!!!!!

I declined the camera and the Jetter and decided to call family and friends for recommendations.

Thankfully, a friend pointed me in the right direction and recommend somebody great.

They charged me $600 for a camera, the Jetter and the snake all included!!! and they were able to fix the clog.

My advice is if you could call around and get quotes do that because Jack's is going to over charge you every which way.

They refused to work on my furnace and all they wanted to is sell me a new one said they couldn't find the part needed I found it on ebay in 5 minutes

I had a toilet running problem, called all over the place and was quoted ridiculous solutions, including breaking the walls and replacing the pipes. My worst nightmare.

But H Jack's plumber came this morning and readjusted the valve inside the toilet tank. This took care of my problem in an instant, my toilet is not running anymore and I am just as happy. The plumber was super patient and understanding of my anxiety over this issue. I highly recommend hiring H Jack's for all your plumbing needs. They are the best!

My landlord called this company at 7am while my furnace was not working at all and they came and left without saying a word to me. They told my landlord they couldn't fix the problem because the furnace was too old for them to know anything about.

Awful experience with this company. First of all do not change a emergency fee if you do not fix the problem until day 3. If you send out new guys make sure they have an idea of why they are coming to the house, and have them introduce themselves. Not happy with this experience and would not recommend them to my enemy.

Do not call Jack's plumbing. Had no heat in house January 22 2022. Called them and they said they would be out. They did come out in timely fashion on Saturday. But, they charged me this amount straight from their invoice. Heating Diagnostic Fee No Heat - $165.00
Remove & Replace H.S.I., Common Style - $317.00
Total $482.00.

$ 482.00 to replace a $35.00 igniter. The guy was there approximately 45 minutes. He took the old igniter which I wanted. I have asked them to supply me the part number and brand name of the igniter they put in. Probably not going to happen. I want to order one as standby in case this happens again. They are easy to replace. The tech was nice and he was charging what they told him to charge.

Do not call Jack's plumbing for any kind of service! They came out on a Sunday for a broken gas valve on our hot water heater, were supposed to fix Monday morning, ordered the wrong part and as of Tuesday afternoon still waiting for repair. The part is under warranty and they are charging $617 for repair! TERRIBLE

Complete idiots! calked on Friday, schedule a service calm for Monday. No heat in house all weekend with two small kids. Call on Monday and they have no record of the service call and the receptionist was rude.. terrible service
