Manager/owner is a pieces of work. Hung up on me when I calmly tried to resolve a situation he had with my wife to get his side of things. Called him back and he's screaming, tells me to eff of, All over them moving a clog that blocked two sinks rather than just one. Better business bureaus has been notified.
he tried to tell us our pipe flowed up. It doesn't flow up genius, it wouldn't have worked for the last six years if it did. Your mannerism to your customers is going to tank your business. That seems to be a common theme on some of your reviews. Based off today and not when it was under different ownership, I hope it does.
Contacted H&H with a furnace problem. They arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem as a bad blower motor. That was Tuesday November 26. On November 27 they returned and replaced the motor. $420.00.
The furnace wasn't fixed at all. It still has the same problem so I called H&H. Very disrespectful man told me he'd come out to check. He waived the drive fee but said the labor would be overtime. The man was rude so I said I would contact someone else. Do not ever call H&H for a problem..they'll rip you off, just like did to me.
I had a new furnace and ac installed. we quickly realized something was wrong and they worked non stop to make sure things were right with no cost to me. very good service, the installers cleaned up everything too. would use again. Hannah
most expensive and they don't do a complete job. I paid for an under sink RO install. I found out after he left that the technician did not attach new line to icemaker. amount to do that is $165 plus $580 seems very high. also it's been a few weeks I'm still waiting to have the pressure in the table put up right.
If I could give H&H more than 5 stars, I would. I bought my house in June of 2018 and have had to call on several different trades since then. H&H was the first company to do a satisfactory job. After waiting over 7 months for my previous plumber to show up and take care of a relatively short punch list, I decided to call H&H. I called on a Monday and got scheduled in for an 8:00am appointment that Wednesday. I had some pretty specific requests on how I wanted certain things fixed and the plumber took care of everything exactly how I had requested. He even took care of a few things that I hadn't initially discussed with their receptionist. When I got home from work that evening, my house was in immaculate condition with everything looking exactly how I had left it I was expecting the worst but everything was perfect. The quality and attention to detail was twice as good as what I was hoping for. We didn't discuss the cost before hand because the plumbing issues needed to be addressed regardless of the price but the bill was over $300 less than what I had budgeted for. H&H will definitely be my first choice for future renovations and I would gladly recommend them to anyone
Amy H.Stopped by to get a part for a shower handle that broke (handle replacement cartridge). They have curbside pickup. Well we knocked on the door for help. The guy that came out one looked annoyed he needed to come out. Two didn't know what the part was we had and asked us what brand name which we didn't know it was old. He said he couldn't go look if we didn't know the brand name. How does a person working at a plumbing place not know a plumbing part. He was anything but helpful and we will never shop there again and will recommend other not either.
Brad G.Had to call them out because my bathtub would slowly drain when i was trying to take a bath. H and h charged me $113 and said they would have to come back with the part and it would be at least another $80 not very impressed.
H&H Plumbing & Heating I have to say is the best. They got a tech out here promptly and with the best quality service I've ever had. Rural Gas & Appliance has ripped us off for over 6 years now. Weeks past with no refills and not bleeding the lines so we had hot water, heat or a stove to cook on. We have spent over $1000.00 on repair bills to fix our furnace, hot water heater and now I have to replace our stove. (after a electrical brown out) Our service man Hunter was so polite, quality and efficient service. The biggest part is Hunter was honest and trustworthy. Unlike Rural Gas & Appliances. Rural left us more than once without heat or hot water for more than three weeks at a time. Thank you H&H. We may not have Christmas for my Mother and Daughter this year, but we have HEAT. Merry Christmas to Hunter and his family and for all those at H&H. Love you bunches!!!!
Called today to see if I could get an estimate for taking out old wall furnace and installing a new one! Pull one out put one in. So much for shopping and using local businesses! They are the ONLY ones local who told me if they came out , it would be a billable service call! REALLY?? Never will I ever call them again~!
If I could place a negative star on this business I would!!!!
Promised us that we could get a $1,000 rebate from the the new boiler they installed. We trusted what they were saying. I found out later, from DTE that the contractor has to apply for the high efficency boiler rebate. I also found out that the contractor has to be certified by DTE. H & H was not a listed contractor so we could not get the rebate..hummm I now wonder why. Anyway, when we informed them of this they told me my information was wrong. They promised to get me the rebate information. NEVER got back to us so we called them. They still insisted we were wrong yet oddly enough they apparently could not figure out how to get me the information. Needless to say we lost out on $1,000-no refund or apology was offered. By the way they were $1,000 less than Godwin Plumbing-without the rebate they were the very same price..WHAT A MISTAKE We MADE IN PICKING THEM!!
Then, they had to come back two times to figure out why the furnace was so noisy (it was not just a little noisy it was loud). They finally got the noise to stop. Unfortunately, the house would never heat up (turned it up to 75-80 and the warmest our house would get was between 50 to 60 degrees. ALL winter...we froze!! They simply explained it away by saying that we needed more heating units. So...we went from fall until the beginning of March freezing our tails off. In March I went down to look at the furnace and discovered that the valves to the boiler were turned off. Thus, no hot water was running through the system. Can you imagine that it took a homeowner to discover what we paid them to uncover and fix?! When we called to ask if they would again look at the system to make sure no other problems existed they refused to at first. After I started to press them on the issue they finally agreed to send someone out. By that time we had enough. Again no apology was ever offered!
Will NEVER EVER do business with them again. I would NEVER in a million years recocmmend this business!!!!!!!
