We were referred to this plumbing company and initially had a great impression. They came out, provided an estimate, and we called shortly after to schedule the job and pay the deposit. The woman we spoke to (Saturday) scheduled us for the following Monday and said someone would be calling us to collect the deposit.

We rearranged our entire schedule--cancelled plans, took time off work, and made ourselves fully available for the appointment in a very short amount of time. On Monday morning, the company called to say the job was not actually scheduled and placed the blame on their weekend answering service. Instead of taking ownership or offering any real apology, the staff member spoke over my husband, who was understandably upset. He tried to express our frustration about rearranging our lives for nothing, but rather than listening, the staff continued to talk over him.

We understand that mistakes happen. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability, empathy, or basic customer service. Rather than hearing us out, they made the situation about their own discomfort, going so far as to accuse us of causing distress when we were simply trying to explain how we'd been impacted.

Plumbing issues are already stressful. The last thing you want is a company that adds to that stress instead of helping resolve it. Based on our experience, I would recommend thinking twice before working with this company.

We got Gunther's contact from our realtor (who uses them for her own home). They were great, showed up on time for every job, explained their estimate, took on additional small projects once here. And Mike was cheerful and a pleasure to have around!

They don't jump to the most expensive repair first, and they give us options. I appreciate that they don't try to ""if you really want to do it right"" kind of attitude we've had from others. It's an 80 year old home, and unless we totally gut everything, it's never going to look like something you would install today. They are skilled professionals, and I appreciate the expertise. Mike arrived at my home towards the earlier part of our time window. He was polite, knowledgeable and efficient! He did a fantastic job and made sure that all of our issues were addressed. We will definitely go with Gunther in the future when needed.

I hired Gunther Plumbing to bring in a gas line to our kitchen. Scheduling my appointment was super easy. Travis is quick to respond to text messages! When Travis and Mike showed up to our house (RIGHT ON TIME!), they discovered that the job would be slightly more difficult than planned, but forged ahead nonetheless! They were very polite, maintained physical distancing AND the final cost came in less than the estimate! I will definitely use them for future work!

This plumber was recommended by my realtor. I am not happy with the water pressure in my new condo. Called these guys to check it. He told me the psi was 45 (ideal would be 60), but there was nothing he could do to increase it. He charged me $84 to tell me this. NOT happy! Way too much $ to check Psi and leave.
