In 1991, Gullett Plumbing Inc. was founded. The Gullett family made Hiddenite, North Carolina their home in 1994. These 25 years have allowed me to raise my adult children. My career continues.

The foundation for Gullett Plumbing Inc. was laid in January 1979. In my teenage years, feeling lost, I joined the U.S. Air Force to find my path. The recruiter presented various career options. I randomly selected plumbing. After completing a trade technical program, the next four years were spent turning pipe wrenches in the service of Uncle Sam. Military indoctrination was not my cup of tea. After receiving an honorable discharge, I moved on from the military. I returned to my prior employer, customizing sprinkler pipe ends in the fire protection industry. During this time, I encountered Julia Sturgill, who has been my partner for thirty-four years. My energetic personality, along with a caring spouse, led to a daring choice. The incorporation papers were signed on February 28, 1991, marking the founding of Gullett Plumbing Inc.. A North Carolina unlimited plumbing license was awarded after proof of my abilities.
