My parents are elderly and live in Pomeroy. Guardian installed a heat pump for them several years ago. The first time it was wired incorrectly and they had to return to correct it. This winter it stopped working and they had no heat. The heat pump was still under warranty. I called Guardian after my parents said they had called several times and were ""getting the runaround"". I was completely shocked when the female employee who answered the phone told me that they were not going to make a special trip to Pomeroy for one customer. She explained they had no other ""runs"" in Pomeroy and would not respond. I would not recommend Guardian to anyone. This is an unethical and unprofessional business practice. What kind of company installs a product and then refuses to repair it when it is still under warranty? We called Up The Creek on Thain and they immediately responded and were very helpful.

I contacted guardian to get a quote; the man who came out was not very friendly. I was told by Curt that he would get back to me. After a month I called again at which point he said he would have my quote to me by the end of the week. I never got a call, a quote or any other notification.
I am extremely disappointed & unsatisfied with Guardian. I found a different company.

Guardian did an amazing job with our furnace replacement. Our routine service of AC and furnace (due to selling our house) turned into needing the furnace replaced. The whole process has been outstanding and literally the whole process took 5 days! They were at our place within 2 days of the initial call for service, the next day we were given multiple options and quotes for which furnace we wanted to go with. We then called another company for additional quotes and Guardian was still less expensive by hundreds of dollars. After deciding to go with Guardian we called and explained that this was part of selling the house and we were able to put a fraction of the cost down and are able to pay the rest at closing. (This saved the sale of the house!) The furnace was then installed and complete the following day (the two gentleman who did it were super nice and funny, they were fine with me running around taking kids to school and going to my storage unit)! Literally one week from initial service to replacing the whole furnace! Guardian was awesome and we will definitely be using and recommending them to others!! Thank you Guardian and thank you Steve!

Always friendly, efficient, try hard to quickly work you in in emergencies & look out for their customers. The serviceman who checked /serviced the air conditioner unit fixed the outside faucet when he cleaned the filters! (It leaked when we ran the hose so I had a bucket under to catch the water.) I expected to replace the faucet when I got funds ahead. After he left, I went to water & found it didn't leak anymore. A few years ago the air conditioner went out during a really hot week, they didn't have the part. When I expressed concern about a family member's heat related medical issue, the service tech brought his own window unit for us to use until they got the part.
