My problem was not an emergency, so I made the appointment for a couple of days in the future. George and his assistant showed up at the appointed time. They spent a long time asking questions of the both of us about the problem. They were able to diagnose the problem and give us a reasonable solution. I will continue to use this company in the future. Highly recommended.

Every since we purchased our home we have called GT plumbing for any plumbing related needs! Both George and Thomas are excellent at what they do. Muriel is prompt to assist and works hard to get your on their schedule! They are my go to!! Definitely recommend them.

He was receptive to my questions and did a great job answering them. I needed a hot water heater replaced and none of the other companies I called would give me a ballpark estimate over the phone; not George! His company gave me an estimate and he didn't try to upsell me on any unneeded memberships or plumbing I didn't need. He also was able to come and do the install our new hot water heater the same day. Several other companies I called told me they wouldn't even be able to give me an estimate for at least 24-72 hours. If you need a plumber, call George.

GT (George and co.) was recommended by a co-worker. Word of mouth recommendations are always welcomed and usually work out, so we went with them without even shopping around (and I ALWAYS shop around with contractors, Angie's list and all that).

So we took a chance, George came over within a day or two to survey, gave us a good estimate for the most likely scenario, and importantly a worst case scenario should they run into a badly deteriorated drain pipe under the basement floor, which may have required digging up the cement.

The problem we had was a partly clogged drain in the basement coming from the laundry area, leaving water to leak out of the walls onto the floor into living space. They had to rebuild the drain plumbing to enlarge it, then use an industrial power snake to clear the clog. It was a good plan of attack.

Within a week George and co. were out (sooner than I expected) to do the work. They were pleasant, respectful, did what they said they would do at the price they quoted. And they cleaned up nicely. No surprises! It's been a few days now with several loads of laundry and no problems or leaks.

I would have offered 5 stars except they were probably a bit more pricey that if we had shopped around, and I was puzzled that they did not possess a ""camera"" snake which in some cases might give customers a more accurate assessment and estimate (a moot point in our case however).

Bottom line, they know their business and we have no problem recommending.
