It has been a challenge to work with G's R Plumbing and Heating and I have no intention of using them again. The most recent service required 3 separate jobs for them to finally complete it right (billed separately) and the final time the technician did not show 3 consecutive times in less than 2 weeks. None of which were we notified about ahead of time. Billing has been an absolute nightmare and to be honest I've never seen a company more incompetent with this task. The owner was supposed to call us over a month ago and, despite repeated calls to the office to touch base on when the owner would be available, we have yet to get a call back. We're done with this business.

Pete was very professional, quick and efficient. He didn't bat an eye with the fact that we were deaf and communication was easy and done by texting and writing on paper.

He cut out and replaced a couple copper pipes related to the washer that was leaking. He also replaced our two bathroom fixtures. He helped us pinpoint where a vibration that could be felt from the hot water coming on.. it just turned out to be from the water heater! And it was all good! It was good to have a hearing person let us know if it was a problem or not. He was very honest and easy to work with. We definitely will call and ask for him again.

I have used G's R plumbing since our last plumber retired almost 20 years ago. I continue to use them because they are competent, user-friendly, and while not the cheapest, their prices are reasonable and the quality of work and integrity makes them an exceptional value!!! When G sold to another company after retirement I was pleased to see that the new company used the same plumbers and the service and quality remained the same. They came out last week to replace a leaking pipe on the outside faucet line and at my request added a shut-off (isolation) valve on the inside next to the outside faucet so we could shut the water off to the hose during the winter. Pete, the service technician, promptly did the requested work.

I've always been highly satisfied with the competence and communication skills of the G'sR plumbers. In the past (I've used them perhaps 20 times over the years) and they have patiently explained to ""drain-dummies"" like me what the problems were, communicated clearly, and made sure I understood what they did. Usually, the same workers came out. This was the first time Pete came. As with the others, he was personable, made sure I knew what he was doing and why, and was professional and A++.

GsR is a reliable and top-notch plumbing company, so I will continue to use them and recommend them to others!!

G's R came out to help a client with a flooding issue. Pete was knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Ensuring safety was key and the job done provided the best outcome for the client. Client had water in the basement for three weeks after having several people come over to help. Three HOURS after G's R was there - the only water remaining was puddles in the uneven area of the floor. Their professionalism and patience was greatly appreciated by all.

They did a great job. I have no problems with the work. The issue I had is, they are five minutes from my house and they charged me for travel time of 40 minutes, 20 each way. If he was coming from another job site, I should only have been charged for one way as the next customer would be charged from my house to theirs, right? Or if returning to the shop, the travel time after would have been 5 minutes. So I paid for 30 minutes more than I should have AT $120 per hour!!! That's $60 out of my pocket. If a plumber is coming not to fix, but to estimate, and you don't give them the job, they should charge for their time. But, if you then arrange a job the time should be deducted, or free. Cost of doing business. Most offer free estimates, G's R Plumbing doesn't.

Had to get work done at my father in-laws place. Called talked to Lisa she set it up and it went very smooth (traps rusted out, Toilet needed replaced) they were on time, great guy, cleaned up and wasted no time. I would recommend to everyone. Price was average for experienced workman.

My mother-in-law had a burst pipe in her closet, with water streaming in by the bucket at 2:30 in the afternoon. Even though it was late in the day, G's R Plumbing had someone there within an hour and our repair was completed by 4:15. Friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive, with fair pricing.

called for part only...spoke with employee received price, was a little high but not unreasonable... delivered part then two months later a bill arrives for almost twice as much as agreed upon....called the owner 7+ times to clear up and pay .. still no return call and no price correction on bill...would not recommend them to anyone...not to mention the employee had been drinking and smelled of alcohol when he arrived.

I completely disagree with the last Yelper. We had them come out in November '12 to change a toilet valve. Yes, they have parts, but very overpriced. $235 to replace a toilet valve? The plumber leaves and the valve is dripping. I called and they came right back, but no apology. Today, I had another valve replaced by a local plumber...great job and $125 bucks! Almost half price and a better job. I wish I could give G's R, NO stars!!
