Grumpy's had great reviews on Angie's List and another company referred me to them as an excellent company for clogged drains, which is exactly what I had.

After waiting nearly two months, and trying every possible home-remedy on the internet, I gave in and decided we needed to call a plumber to fix the clog in our guest bathroom toilet. As a first time homeowner I always seem to assume that calling anyone, to fix anything, is going to cost me a fortune. I was silly to wait to so long in retrospect because after I called Grumpy's they were there two days later (a little ahead of the scheduled time) and had my toilet fixed up and ready to go all for a very cheap price (as quoted over the phone). I was warned there could be an additional charge, but apparently my toilet didn't need more than expected.

What brought the quality of service over-the-top was that the man who fixed my clog also told me what caused the clog and how to avoid it in the future - which was so appreciated! Apparently my expensive toilet paper is to ""fancy"" for my cheap toilet and old pipes so he recommended I either (1) buy a new toilet or (2) use cheap toilet paper. So far I haven't done either, but if my toilet clogs again at least I'll know why....

The overall experience was exceptional from start to finish. Two guys came out, took their time on cleaning the drains, cleaned after them and most of all they got the job done at the price quoted. We were also made aware of some issues with our drains that we will have to address in the near future.

Keith came out to clear out our line which drains laundry and the kitchen sink. He cleared it in short order. He then described the causes of the buildup and what we could do to prevent it in the future. I felt confident in his expertise and was very happy with his professionalism and efficiency.

I used Grumpy's for a clogged drain. They came out earlier than the appointment time. Worked for me. Did the work. Unfortunately, i had a broken pipe. Keith gave me some ideas and off he went. He discounted the work from the original quote since the pipe was broken. Great to work with.

I found Grumpy's through Yelp and was impressed with all the good reviews. Then I went to their website and found a PRICE LIST! It was easy to make an appointment. They were prompt. And it cost exactly what their price list said. None of the seemingly routine with other shops of pay us x to come out and then we'll tell you how much it will cost to fix your problem. I will definitely be calling Grumpy's the next time I need to call a plumber!

Keith came out to clear a kitchen drain. After he was done, He felt it was clear and apparently ran quite a bit of water thru the line. The next day it was clogged again. He felt the problem was old pipes and an old disposal. He said he would come back out and try again but he would charge me again. I contacted ProDrain; they came out for $88, found the clog further down the line where it had been pushed and its been running great for a week now.

We called Grumpy's based on these Yelp reviews (the only low score is a guy that obviously didn't pay attention to the receptionist) and they came right out, they were speedy, efficient and friendly and the price was unbeatable. They didn't try to sell us anything at all, didn't try to gouge on time or any of the other common tactics from the bigger companies. Recommend whole-heartedly!

Grumpy's Drains is the best! I don't normally write reviews, but maybe there is someone out there who, like me, doesn't know who to call. I called Grumpy's at 9:00 this morning, they were at my house fixing the problem before 10 o'clock! Wow! While this was probably just luck, it sure was awesome. Secondly, the prices were exactly what they said on the website, which took a lot of pressure off me. You know how when someone is billing you hourly, you never know what you're going to get? These guys had flat fees. I had them do my kitchen sink and then for another 30 bucks they did my shower drain. Everything works great now, plus they told me how to prevent the problem in the future. This place is truly worthy of the highest review, I wouldn't call anyone else. Thanks Keith!

After a wild rain storm last night we woke up to some muddy sludge coming up from our floor drain in the laundry room. I tried calling a couple of other companies but they didn't answer the phone. Tried Grumpy's and the woman picked right up. She was so polite and patient, was very reassuring when I explained the problem. She went on to tell me the flat rate for fixing the problem and said he could be by around 2:00. Great!

Before noon the plumber called, said he could come by now if I wanted. Of course! In no time at all he got it unplugged, ran water down there without any trouble at all. He was also friendly, didn't talk down to me and he was dressed nicely (if you know what I mean). I would recommend them to all my friends with clogged drains.
