We needed a part for our air conditioning unit, and came down to pick it up. They didn't have it in stock but called the Nampa location and had the store hold the part for us. In addition before making the trip to Nampa, they tested our old part to make sure it indeed needed replacing. That is going the extra mile! Thank you Grover's!!

Bummer. Checked open hours b4 heading to store. Got there, they were not opened during hours posted on line. Went to the competition. Update your hours so you do not inconvenience customers please.

How does this place have such good reviews?? My husband has experienced absolutely terrible customer service the last three times he's been in there. We are usually looking for a part, have done research and know what we're doing. Staff has either been unwilling to help or given a bunch of sass. One out of three times had what we needed but we would rather get it elsewhere with less attitude. Too bad because this place is just a few blocks from our house. Don't think we'll go through the hassle of going back here.

Never will I step foot in this store again. I'm usually just ignored but today, after walking up and down the aisles for a good ten to fifteen minutes, I decided to ask at the service counter for help finding a cap nut to an outdoor light fixture. The clerk was helping the only customer in sight, a man in front of me, put some items back into a box which he then walked over to the cashier for the man to pay. When the clerk came back to the service desk, he looked right past me, asked to serve the next number after the #4 on the display. I said that I was there next and hadn't taken a number, he walked around the counter, pressed a button, took #7 and handed it to me, explaining that he would help me in order after the other customers who had come in after me were helped. That is not customer service. You will get treated better at the DMV in this town. The products I am buying are available online and that is where I will be spending my time and money.

First time in Grover's grabbing some items for my shop. Very impressed with the knowledgeable staff that helped me grab all the items as I read them off my list. Had my 1 year old daughter with me so it was great having a fast and friendly in and out visit!

Greetings,
Went to Grover's for the best parts for my Irrigation Valve replacement. After digging for about 20 days...now I just spent not more than 30 minutes a day. Finally got the old valves exposed enough to replace the valve. After installing the 1"" Valve, 1"" Tee, drain valve and PVC to the sprinkler system, waited a day...no leaks. So time to slowly open the new valve...wow no leaks...so I opened it ALL THE WAY...darn the new valve leaked out the top. So after a call to Grover's, I was told to remove the Valve and bring it in with my sale's slip and they would replace the Valve. Well of course I didn't have the receipt. Should I try to tighten down the nut on top of the Valve...it is already hard to open?

Today is a sad day!!!
It was my last time in Grover's Thanks to Manager Steve!!!
On 6/29/17 I purchased a irrigation pump for my sprinkler system. I bought the nicer one that was heavy duty with brass parts instead of the plastic like most of them have.
At the end of last summer I blew out the sprinklers. I use my personal compressor that I set at 35 psi to avoid damaging my sprinkler heads. when doing it at the end of last summer, when the temperatures were no where close to freezing the metal blew out. So I looked in the manual. it told me it came with a 2 year warranty. I looked at my receipt, And I am still within that time frame. so today I went to Grover's where I had the privilege of meeting Manager Steve. he said that can only happen when it freezes and he will not honor the warranty. So I showed manager Steve that I blew it out when it was not freezing. Manager Steve continued to tell me that can only happen when it freezes. And then manager Steve tried telling me it split out because it sat there all Winter with water in it. That is funny because in October it had already been blown out. Manager Steve was getting really mad at me, and his face was turning bright red. Then manager Steve in a mean voice said ""LOOK I WILL REPLACE THE OUTER CASE AND THEN WE ARE DONE!""
Manager Steve then told the guy at the register to write me up just that part, and to document that there is absolutely no more warranty on anything whatsoever. How right you are manager Steve. we are done! I will never step foot in Grover's again!

I went in to get an aerator for my kitchen faucet. The gentleman that helped me was kind and knowledgeable. he helped me find the correct size that I needed if I showed him using my fingers about how big around it was. That's great service.
The only reason for only four stars instead of five was because I had to look for somebody to help me and said little disorganized to get to the cash register.

I have only one recommendation for Grover's. Please raise your prices! I have lived in Boise for over 30 years and find myself needing to go to Grover's every 2 years or so. Went there the other day with a sprinkler issue. Rob was very patient and provided instructions and guidance that probably took 15 minutes. He led me to all the needed parts and in the end it cost slightly above $4.00.The advice was invaluable and spot on. This is our ""go to"" place for home projects.
