We were leaving for vacation the next day and as usual, something always goes wrong. I needed a plumber and FAST! Dave was in the area and even though I am sure he had worked all day long came over and fixed the issue.
I would highly recommend this company as they are very reasonably priced.

We had a leaking pipe and called Grossman. They had great reviews on Yelp so we decided to give them a try. They arrived a few hours past their scheduled time but we didn't mind. A father and son team arrived and they took their time with everything - they didn't rush. I had them over to fix a leaking pipe in a very old house, had them check two fireplace inserts, another leak which decided to stop leaking, and remove an old gas line from a bbq grill. They were extremely reasonable and didn't nickel and dime us. I trusted them right from the start and would highly recommend them to anyone. I asked them for an electrician recommendation and they did give me one! I will not hesitate to call them again. I'm very happy :-)

Dave came to quote me on a new gas hot water heater in May. I only had him come back to install it 2 days ago. The quote from 3 months ago was honored. The old hot water heater was removed and negotiated thru my narrow stairway out into the garage without any wall scratches. New one installed and upgraded from 3"" flue to 4"" to comply with code, and so far so good. Now I wait and see if everything holds up and see what the water utility bill looks like next month.

It is no wonder that this company has a 5 star rating from every client who has taken the time to review them. A few days ago I went into the garage only to find water all over the floor. I went to the utility corner where the furnace and water heater is, and sure enough the water heater was dripping and leaking. (it was a solid 12-13 years old and I knew it was only a matter of time). It's been awhile since I needed a plumber so I went on Yelp and read Grossman Plumbing reviews. I called and spoke with Matt who came by the house to survey the situation within 2 hours of our conversation, only for him to find a leaking water heater in a very small space . The problem was the 40 gallon tank I had was 18"" in diameter with pipes around it and most water heaters today are 20"" diameter and that dimension seemed to measure too tight. Matt called many suppliers in my presence, all of which were saying the 20"" diameter is standard now and If it wouldn't fit I could go for a 30 gallon tank at 18"" inches diameter. which is more money and special ordered... No one stocks it.
I didn't want to go down to a 30 gallon tank and so we decided to go with the standard 20"" diam, he would order it, and hope with some adjustment it would make it. And thats how we left it.
Later that afternoon Matt called me to tell me he researched it further and was able to secure a 19"" Rheem, which we knew would be perfect, and came back the next morning and installed it. The installation went great, neat and clean and I could not be happier that he solved a potential problem of space. This company is top shelf..honest, reliable and easy to business with, just the way you want things to go!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I called them on Wednesday because of a pipe that had burst, it was actually a pipe and valve they worked on 2 years ago. Matt came before work hours to accommodate my work schedule. He took his time, new pipe, new valve and gave me some plumbing tips :-) He really went out of his way to make sure the work was done properly. Phenomenal attention to detail. So I turn around to pay him and he says ""no charge"", I was like wow, why?, he said ""because we stand behind our work"". We need more family oriented companies like this. This is just one of the reasons why I will recommend them to anyone and will always call them for my plumbing needs. Great people, great company. Highly recommend them. I wish I can give them 10 stars.

Excellent and helpful. Had an issue (frozen pipe) that I didn't know how to solve, and David told me what to do for free over the phone. He said there's not much else he'd be able to do on site except give me the same advice and charge his flat rate. Gave me tips and told me not to worry, but feel free to call back if I have any questions.

Grossman Plumbing & Heating is the best company I have ever used. I had no heat a day before Christmas and gave them a call as a first time customer. Grossman's was highly recommended to me by our Mahwah Mom's group. I gave them a call and they said they would be at my house within 15 Minutes! I was so surprised especially because it was so close to the holiday. They checked everything it and replaced my thermostat. They followed up the next morning to make sure the heat was still working. I was extremely happy with their service.
I called them for a second time when the weather dropped down to single digits because my furnace shut off and it fell below 66 degrees in my house. Within 10 Minutes Dave was at my house. Not only did he get the furnace back up and running but he also brought a space heater since the weather would be in single digits the next few days and he wanted to make sure me and my son were warm. I can't get over the amazing customer service they have provided to me. They are fantastic. I wish I could give you 100 stars because that is how excellent this company is. They really do care about their customers- whether you have been with them for a long time or are a new customer. If you ever have any plumbing or heating issues Call Grossman! They are very quick to respond, they are very fair priced and they care! Thank you so much for taking care of us this week! You guys are amazing!

Last night at bath time for my two little kids there was no hot water. Poof. Gone. I bathed my kids in cold water. They weren't happy. I knew I needed a new water heater.

I called about 5 different places and finally spoke to Grossman's and I really think someone was watching over me. Thank god I found this family owned business.

They had the BEST price of every place I called, he was friendly and explained things to me, he came over within 3 hours of calling him, he filled out the permit paperwork and mailed it in.

This is a family owned business who doesn't try to rip you off or make you feel like a number. Honesty is hard to come by.

I truly appreciate them coming today so my kids had a hot bath tonight and clean clothes tomorrow. They were even cool with my pets. This is a company that will have my business forever. Thank you guys!!!!
