When we had heating issues, I called Groff's, and was quoted $155 for them to come out and look at it. Fine. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment. When the guy got to my house, I learned that the $155 ""service charge"" only included the time for them to drive out to my house! I was then charged a ""diagnosotic fee"" of $112 for him to look at the unit for a total of $267. Bait and switch! If they explained I'd need to pay both fees, I'd have called around.
