I found Grimsley's plumbing through recommendations on Nextdoor. I am not sure why I had such terrible interactions with him, because everyone spoke so highly of him. It took me a month to get him to come out because he took a vacation after Saying he would schedule an appointment. I waited a month, and after that called and eventually got him to come out. I don't anything negative to say about his work. However, we recently needed a plumber again and so I called him. After several tries, he finally scheduled us. It was to either repair or replace a faucet, so we didn't mind waiting the few weeks. The day of our appointment, he texted me an hour and a half after the appointment saying that he could not come because his jobs took longer than expected. He asked if we could reschedule for the following week. i replied to his text and said "" no problem"", when can we schedule? He never replied , and I am done chasing him down! We found another local, licensed plumber to do the work. We want to support small businesses, but don't waste your time with Grimsley's. Based on reviews, he is probably a decent plumber, but he is a TERRIBLE business man, with no tegard for his customers time. I cannot believe I am the only one who has had this experience.

Where do I begin? You MUST read this review ... David responded to me from a request for help with a plumbing issue on NextDoor. He offered assistance that definitely helped us. In addition, he was referred repeatedly to us by others.

We completed our issue with his assistance and then I later contacted him to install a gas stove in one of my rentals. I am a Realtor and Property Manager, and I have plumbing issues all the time for me and my clients. He gave me a FANTASTIC price, and he scheduled for the repair. He showed up on time, did the job, and my tenant said, ""He was very professional.""

He texted me right after the job was done to let me know. When I asked for the invoice to pay him, here is what he said: ""This one is on me! No Charge. They're great people. You're welcome :-)."" I replied, ""WHAT? this can't be real???"" He said, ""This Plumbing business is not always about the money. The joy of that guy (my 90+ year old tenant) made my day.""

So, not only is this Plumbing Professional qualified and professional, he is kind and sincere, and is definitely one-of-a-kind. CALL HIM for any plumbing requirement you may have; you will be glad you did. And, it is rare that I write a review for anyone and when I do, they are typically short and sweet, but David deserves way more! I feel blessed to be acquainted with David.

I've been a Realtor in Northern VA for 36 years and my clients know I typically ""have a guy"" for anything home related. David is ""my guy"" for plumbing. He makes me look good and my clients find him respectful prompt and a good value. Give him a call and tell him I sent you!

I found David Grimsley on the NextDoor App. I saw a short video of him replacing an outdoor faucet bib. To be honest, before we spoke I didn't know that is what it is called. I also have wanted to get two of ours fixed for years and I mean years!

I reached out to David on the app and he was very pleasant and very responsive to my requests. My Dad told me years ago to have a contractor come in for a small job before hiring anyone for a big job. Well David was professional, responsive, respectful, did not think our job was too small. He respected the fact that we did need a small job done but treated us like it was a big job. He was wonderful to work with, advised us when he was going to be delayed arriving because his job before us had delayed him.

He worked outside in almost 100 degree weather and one faucet bib had no shade at all. We gave him some ice water and left the garage door open so he would go inside if he got too hot, but he said he was ok and just got the job done in no time at all.

We were so happy with his work we called him about another small job and he sad he would be delighted to help us again. Our house is now 25 yrs. old and we seem to be having all kinds of small jobs for David crop up but we know he will do a great job.

He's a master craftsman in his field who is respectful and responsible. He's a great businessman too! We appreciate all his skills because we are dumdums when it comes to plumbing.
