Called them on a Sunday for a stopped up drain pipe.
They told me they could get right out but would have to charge
$149.00 to clear the line rather than the regular $59.00 weekday rate. I told them to go ahead. 2 hrs. later I get a call back. They charged me
$370.00. The excuse was they had to clear the line from the roof.
This is a single story home with a standard pitched roof.
This was not what they quoted and no mention of a possible up charge.
Plumbers routinely have to go up on roofs to clear stoppages. They
did negotiate after the fact and kicked back $100.00. They need to be more specific and detailed on possible charges before proceeding with their work.

Way too expensive. Their fees are outrageous. Had a main water line looked at with a camera and cleaned out and was charged $500 when I previously had it done for only $200 with another company. They are overcharging all their customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I promise they will not charge you the reasonable amounts.

Well with a family of 6 we ended up with clogged pipes leading to the street and a sink that would not drain. I called and had an appointment the next morning. James was early and quickly worked to power wash the pipes and later came back and added a missing piece to the outside of my home. Everything was cleaned before he left. Plumbing is expensive and I did not price shop to know how they compare to others.

OMG, $1800 to remove a damaged water heater and setup a temp a few feet away??? I got a stand from home depot and longer hoses and strapped to the wall for $52.
Mike Kelley Plumbing and Jerry's quotes where close to $200 and reasonable if I couldnt get to it myself.

Mark is amazing! He came out to my condo quickly on Sunday. He was very thorough when he assessed the water heater issue and fully explained my options. I can tell that he is passionate about his job and has a lot of integrity. I would highly recommend Griffin Plumbing and Mark for all of your plumbing needs

Right before leaving for a long exhausting drive to LA ,I noticed water leaking under the sink ., just what I needed !!! I called Griffin Plumbing the day I returned and got an appt very quickly .They actually came out the very next day ...
Mark T arrived promptly @ the scheduled time , he called me with his 30 min ETA .
He was professional , knowledgeable, and very pleasant .
He identified himself at the door, and wore shoe covers in the house .
He fixed the problem , had everything he needed to complete the job in a timely manner .
He did an inspection of the other faucets and even helped me carry something I was moving outside (I was recovering from surgery ) That was very kind of him !
I joined their diamond club , because it's comforting to know they are available 24 hrs a day ..
I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends .

A number of plumbing requirements in my 59 year old house had to be addressed, now.. Because of previous excellent service by Griffin Plumbing, I called them for a site survey and quote for the necessary work. They scheduled Mark for the 24th of January between 8 and 10 in the morning. He arrived ready to work at 8:30 and proceeded to perform the whole house inspection and work up a precise cost estimate. A very thorough inspection including a water quality test was done according to my requirements. Mark also provided valuable suggestions for preventive maintenance and recommendations regarding future work that might be necessary. As a result of this preliminary work Griffin Plumbing staff worked with me to get a crew out to do the work on Friday the 26th of January. Mark and assistant Jake started work at my house at 8:15 a.m. and completed all work by 1:15 p.m. Considering the number of tasks to be accomplished and the time in which they completed the various tasks I can only say how pleased I am to have had team Mark and Jake do the work. Each step of the way I was informed of their progress, advised of any problems, and made aware of future work that could be done. They kept things clean and worked safely and presented a professional, friendly demeanor. The installation of the new continuous flow water system now provides instant hot water in all bathrooms, no more waiting and water waste, drains are running freely, and water pressure is just right. They did it all perfectly. It is reassuring to know that we have excellent technicians, such as Griffin Plumbing employs, to give prompt and courteous service when needed. Excellent service. I was having a problem with water softener that Griffin installed several years ago adding to much salt to the water. James the technician was great and prompt. Going above and beyond he tested the water in the house to ensure the system was set correctly he even draining then hot water heater for me as an extra to remove the sediment (there was alot in there). After some technical advice from the manufacturer James had the salt issue licked. So far so good. Thank you James and Griffin Plumbing.
