When choosing a home repair company be it pluming or any kind of repair work, I always read reviews and get as many referrals as possible. I simply have a hard time trusting companies and spending hundreds and thousands of dollars to businesses I do not know. As a conscientious home owner my trust is earned and I worry about competency. On 12/27/16 a plumber (or apprentice?) named Ariel did a job on our daughters bathroom tub. He was kind, professional and explained what he did. Belle, from the office, was also kind and professional. They did not inflate the fee and overcharge us; their pricing was honest and fair. Thank Goodness I don't have to search anymore for an honest plumbing company. Argall Pluming is our plumber for life.

Tough to give a zero to someone who didn't show 3 appointments in a row. I asked when we confirmed the last appointment, "" how likely are you to show?"" ""100%!"" Feel bad for a guy trying to carve out a living with limited ability. I hope him the best. For the record, 5:34 and no call that I can't make the 2pm-4pm slot.

I am in awe and great appreciation of Argall Plumbing. As a general contractor I am usually underwhelmed and under-impressed by plumbers' grasps of the issues at hand.
We had a very sophisticated water heater go out on one of our apartment buildings, Grier and his crew showed up and troubleshot it relentlessly, out-figuring even the factory-trained tech. Got it back on line better I think than anyone could.

I have never been so impressed with all the help I received when I was having major Plumbing work done to my home here in Oakland. Grier came all the way out here and did an Estimate: my Sewer, installed a new Gas Line and moved the Toilet plus Shower in my main Bathroom. Grier had his Team out here in less than a week after I received the Estimate which I have to say was an extremely fair price since I got two other Estimates for different Plumbing Companies in my Area. They worked on the Sewer first by doing some type of fancy Video to determine what the scope of the work would be. He also had two guys already digging away starting the project. Overall, we were so impressed by him and his Crew and how fast and what a fabulous job they did. We came back to everything working properly and better than before. We couldn't have gotten a better Company to help us. I was so gratefully to Grier and his positive energy along with his genius plumbing knowledge that he shows every step of the job. So what better way could one wake up than to the sound of a recurring drip...to discover a couple inches of standing water from a dying water heater? OK, there are probably many better ways to wake up -- but what could have been a nightmare became a mere inconvenience thanks to Grier and his crew. I called at 7:30, Roger was at my home draining the old heater by 8, and he and another gentleman spent the day installing a new flash hot water heater and everything was in great shape by that evening. These guys are friendly, fast, honest, and very good at what they do. They are highly knowledgable, they answer questions without making me (who knows much less than they do about plumbing) feel like an idiot, and they are also fun to talk to which is just kind of a bonus. We are also happy to have such a model local business to support -- whatever your plumbing needs, make these guys your first call and you may never call another plumber...

I met Grier at a gathering at a mutual friend's house and immediately liked him. About two weeks later our bathroom sink developed a link so I called him (on a Sunday morning. Sorry Grier!). He returned my call promptly and sent out two of his crew to our house on Monday morning. My wife reports that they removed their shoes before entering our house (probably not necessary for our place but it shows the care they take). They were unfailingly polite and explained the issue. They fixed the problem promptly and for a very reasonable cost. Grier Argall Plumbing is now our go-to plumbing. Highly Recommended without reservations.

Grier has come to fix a couple of emergencies for us in the hill above Fairfax, a broken supply line to the house and a mysterious leak. Both times I have been impressed with Grier's enthusiasm for the job, sleuthing skills, and ability to make a quick change with some clever hardware he had in his truck. Although I always strive to do the right thing, which in this case would be to replace all plumbing from the street to the faucet in our 1920's cottage, Grier was completely willing to work with what we have to fix the immediate problem. When we do the big makeover I will definitely call Grier Argall and pleased to recommend him.

Grier has just opened up a new shop in an old Farifax gas station next to the new Bike Museum of Marin. He is expanding his business and I am excited to see a friendly, competent small business owner grow his services - Go Grier!
