We panicked when Dan our trusted Donley plumber suspected a water leak under our foundation. He suggested we let him contact a leak detection company he recommended. Mick at Grey Owl quickly scheduled us for the next morning. Aidan arrived right on time and his calm and reassuring demeanor quickly put me at ease. He worked diligently to perform his detection procedures and was able to pinpoint a leak that could be rerouted. The entire time Aidan was in our home he was SO very respectful of our home and of us. His kindness, professionalism and confidence was so reassuring. It's so rare to have this type of customer service that goes beyond the skill and competence Aidan exhibited. He gave us so much peace of mind in his ability to isolate the leak so that Dan from Donley could make the repair. When Aidan left he shook our hands, said what a pleasure it was to meet us...he left like he had been a guest in our home. And he was that...and so much more. I experienced a leak somewhere within my home, however there were no evident signs. We noticed it when our water bill went up by 24% in one month. I was refered to Grey Owl Leak Detection by a plumber. They sent out a technician with all modern gear (FLIR, audio, etc) and he was able to locate the source. Once it was located I called a plumber who repaired the slab leak by bypassing the leaking line, routing it through the attic and reconnecting the water to the manifold. Fast, friendly and reasonable. Grey Owl Leak Detection will be my 1st choice from now on.
