A true craftsman - the Sherlock Holm of drains! Right after I bought my 1980s house, the rains started and I found a waterfall coming out my front drain. Thank goodness Greg was available. In two hours, he removed a 10-foot root clog from my line, dug sand from the main drain box, patched holes in my pipe, and straightened everything out so the water will flow better with gravity. Now I won't cringe every time I check the weather. Thank you Greg!

Greg came the same day we called. He was stacked up with other projects, and actually arrived after his business hours--we weren't even home! By the time we arrived an hour and a half later, the entire job was done (on our delicate Victorian home) AND he had cleaned up all the sewer leakage, leaving the entire site not only fixed, but in better condition than it had been before the job. Super pleasant fellow and we'd use him again in a heartbeat. Almost hate to leave a great review because it might make him even busier. 5 enthusiastic stars.

No less than a week after we moved into our newly purchased home we began to experience backup of sewage into both of our brand new bathtubs; and all on a Saturday morning when family had come over the check out the new house, no less. Yay.

At any rate, after a couple of calls to other plumbers to no avail, we were given Greg's name and although he was already on another job in Belvedere he promised to stop by our place in Novato as soon as he was finished.

Upon his arrival and initial inspection Greg quickly identified a couple of critical issues with our current plumbing including two inexplicably buried cleanouts and major root damage downstream that had caused major backup that hadn't revealed itself until now.

Suffice to say it was a long day for all involved, but when he was finished, our problems were solved and although we were quite certain we'd be paying an arm and a leg to have him resolve the issue, his final price was extremely reasonable and we couldn't have been happier.

We'll definitely be calling up on Greg should we encounter future such issues (fingers crossed) and heartily recommend his services to anyone in a pinch. He's prompt, professional, friendly and gets the job done at reasonable rates. Thanks, Greg.

Wow what a great professional. Greg knew how our neighborhood (Eichlers/Alliance) home drains were configured. He is very knowledgeable and even though we had a very complicated problem, he was relentless and wouldn't stop until the job was done. I can't recommend him enough !!

After several unsuccessful calls over two days around Marin to find someone who could unclog my kitchen sink, I was able to find someone who was able to come in and take a look. After his snake malfunctioned, he said ""I can't do this for you, you need to call Greg the Drain Man"" - he can fix it. Well, I was not expecting much but after calling Greg, he said he would be able to come by in an hour. He did and an hour later my kitchen sink was functional again. Greg is a really nice guy, knows what he is doing and even cleaned my gutter on my roof that was stuffed with leaves! I highly recommend Greg for not just his service but because I like hiring people who deserve the business! Thanks Greg!

greg was at my house about 20 minutes after i called him ~ the pipes had backed up, sending sewage into the bathroom and laundry room and i was beyond upset ~ he did a quick job, showing me the roots that had clogged my drainage pipe, and told me i could get an overflow cap (under $10) for the outside clean-out which would ensure that any future backups would flow onto the ground, not into the bathroom ~ he was efficient, affable and fairly priced ~ he also told me that because of the drought, it was likely that roots would take hold in the pipes again, as the plants are looking for moisture ~ so i will keep his number handy!

Greg drove to SR from Novato on a rainy day. Took him 2 hours. Yuk.

Only to learn that the work he needed to do required 2 people (clean the sewer line from our roof).

I offered to pay for his time to drive all the way down only to turn down the job, and he said no.

I wouldn't consider using anybody other than Greg on my plumbing. I have used him for years. I used another company once and they tried to up their quote by 500% once they came to my house. Greg is honest as the day is long and a super nice, professional guy. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I give Greg 10 Stars!!!

I have been using Greg for over 10 years. As others have stated, Greg is an expert at this. Prior to Greg, I have had others (name brand outfits) rod my line without any results. Greg has the magic touch to clear my line which gets clogged by roots and other things. Despite being a one-man show, he has been on schedule. In summary, I would highly recommend him and will continue to use him
