Though I usually don't post reviews, Greg's work, service, knowledge, and authenticity was so noteworthy, I felt it appropriate to do so.

I had a root crimp my main line copper piping. I sent Greg some pics via email and he called back quickly to say if I hadn't already made other arrangements he'd be happy to come fix it. He gave me a time, called when he was en route and showed up at that specified time. After some intros, he took a look at the area, said he could do it in 2hrs + parts and I gave him the go ahead. He finished in 1h 15m and water was running to the house again!

Bonus: Greg has a long history in OC and can likely look at your faucets and tell you not only what parts and manufacturer it is....but why that faucet was used so wide-spread at the time your house was built.

So to summarize....great work, super friendly, and a walking anthology of OC plumbing....I highly recommend giving Greg a call if ever you're in need.

Yelp reviews on Greg are spot on. I called Greg after discovering that I had slab leak in my downstairs bathroom. He set up a time for that afternoon (Friday) and confirmed that I had a leak and set up time on Monday to repair. He successfully diagnosed the issue and was able to run a bypass taking care of the issue. While he was here he also detected a cracked drain pipe and a faulty shower valve which he repaired/replaced. He was very courteous, professional and worth every penny.

We were in need of a kitchen faucet replacement. This was not an emergency but most certainly it was inconvenient to be without our faucet. After contacting Proserv, who covers our condo complex, we decided that surely it should not cost $700+ dollars for replacement. The first call after that estimate went to someone else on Yelp just because his name appeared first, this gentleman did not bother to return the call. Greg was next and definitely the third time was the charm. My better half called him in the morning and he said he could come by at a certain time that same day and he did what he said he would do. He was on time, courteous and took the time to explain a few things that we had questions about. Greg is now on the top of that list and we will certainly pass out his card when asked ""do you know a plumber"". We don't want to have to call a plumber but if we are in the need we know who to call. Thank you Greg for renewing our faith in he service industry!

We called Mike Diamond first and we're shocked by the bait and switch tactics are still prevalent today. Then are second call was made to Greg and we were so happy. Greg was out the next business day. And his fee was a fraction of the cost diamond wanted from us. We will definitely be using Greg again for our plumbing needs.

Greg was willing to help me on a drain problem at the end of the day on a Friday -- Fortunately, I had another plumber come out who fixed the drain -- But Greg stayed on the line to make sure my drain problem was resolved and even gave me tips for maintaining my drain. Of course, he didn't charge me for his really good advice. For that, thank you, Greg. I will certainly remember you for future plumbing/rooter needs!

I needed a plumber to clean out a bathroom sink. I live in Aliso Viejo and saw some great yelp reviews for Greg Kranz. I called him to set up an appointment. The past reviews are all true. He is prompt, knows his stuff, very personable and will give suggestions (free of charge) to help maintenance after he completes the job. He rocks!! I am keeping his number in case I need a plumber again.
