Last Sunday evening my husband and I found a leak in our living room ceiling. After turning off water to the entire house we decided to call a plumber first thing in the morning. I found Greg on Yelp and gave him a call at 7 am.

He told me could be at my house by 8 to examine the leak and give me an estimate. Greg was on time, gave me a fair price and was able to repair the leak within a few hours.

It's been a while since I've had the chance to meet an honest guy like Greg Kranz. I am a caregiver and my 92 year old clients kitchen sink was leaking severely, I didn't want to leave knowing that my client might later in the day wander into the kitchen and slip. Greg said he could only do the free estimate that day but when I explained the situation he took a little extra time to fix the problem. I can't say enough wonderful things about Gregg Kranz. He was not only on-time, but *early* and didn't charge me for what was a very thorough evaluation of my issue. Nor did he recommend unnecessary and costly remedies that plumbers can be known to do ... they generally get a stereotyped bad wrap right up there with auto mechanics. The time to be doing diligence and interviewing for a good plumber is NOT during a crisis situation, so I'm thrilled to have attained a level of comfort with him in advance. High marks for being responsive, courteous, and a consummate professional. I hope not to have to have him back out anytime soon - after all, no one WANTS to need a plumber, but after having read other reviews here and my initial positive experience, I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and to recommend him to others.

Though I usually don't post reviews, Greg's work, service, knowledge, and authenticity was so noteworthy, I felt it appropriate to do so.

I had a root crimp my main line copper piping. I sent Greg some pics via email and he called back quickly to say if I hadn't already made other arrangements he'd be happy to come fix it. He gave me a time, called when he was en route and showed up at that specified time. After some intros, he took a look at the area, said he could do it in 2hrs + parts and I gave him the go ahead. He finished in 1h 15m and water was running to the house again!

Bonus: Greg has a long history in OC and can likely look at your faucets and tell you not only what parts and manufacturer it is....but why that faucet was used so wide-spread at the time your house was built.

So to summarize....great work, super friendly, and a walking anthology of OC plumbing....I highly recommend giving Greg a call if ever you're in need.
