Final update: Andy came out and diagnosed the problem quickly, finding the location of the roots. His team did a great job putting in the clean out, and later jetting the rest of the roots out of our line.
So my advice..Call Greenwell for issues with your plumbing..but get a 2nd opinion right away to avoid delays to a solution for your issue.
Thanks to Nicole, Andy and his crew
On Feb 6, 2025 I had Greenwell Plumbing replace my sewer line and they said had collapsed. They didn't show up until 10:30am and left at 5pm - they said they would return the next day to finish the job. In the process they cut my water line in 3 places. They repaired the line, however, when the technician repaired the broken line inside my bathroom, it was done incorrectly. On Saturday evening at 6pm, the ""fix"" in the bathroom blew. I had at least 3 inches deep in my house. I called Greenwell and they said a technician would be out to fix the issue. The technician came out at 9pm, stayed 2 hours but didn't have the parts to do the repair. Another technician came out on Sunday morning and repaired the ""fix"" correctly. The original job never did get completed until April 18, 2025! They left my yard a muddy mess for 6 weeks. The cleanout they installed in Feb was way too tall (over 5ft tall) and leaned toward the house instead of being straight. They broke the top of a little house I have where my outside spigot is. They did bring out a piece of plywood to put on top, but they failed to reconnect the waterline to the spigot. They also hit my water meter and left it at an angle. They tore up my driveway with their backhoe and left mud everywhere. Everytime I called them to come back out to finish their job, there was always an excuse. I had standing water all around where they dug to put in the new sewer line this entire time. There were so many phone calls I had to make and everytime they sent someone out, all they did was take pictures, even though nothing changed since the previous time they were out. Every person who came out said they wouldn't be happy either with how they left everything and all the screwups they did. After about a month of waiting for them to complete the job, I had another water leak right in the middle of the muddy mess (on a Saturday). When I called them, they told me I had to wait until Monday for them to get an excavation crew out. I told them I will not be without water for 2-1/2 days , that I wanted someone out that day. Surprisingly they found someone to come out to repair that leak. I was told that the original crew probably hit the waterline and caused it to snap. It just took a bit for it to surface. They finally agreed to replace my water line from the house to the meter free of charge. They continued to promise me with dates they would be out - it kept being pushed back. I finally told them that if the job was not done by end of day on Friday, 4/18/2025, I will be contacting an attorney and will sue their company. Then the technician came out to replace my waterline, he told me that the ""separation bar"" in my water meter was leaking and I needed to contact the water company, which I did. The water company said they never heard of a ""separation bar"". When the water company looked at the meter, they told me that Greenwell Plumbing messed up my meter. So now I have to wait until next week for the water company to come out to repair my meter. If there is any charge, they will be billing Greenwell Plumbing.
To top it all off, I pay $15.95/month for their A-1 Membership for priority service. If what I experienced is what they considered priority service, they are soooooo wrong. Consequently, I will be dropping my membership.

Jake K.I had a tech come to our house about replacing a toilet flange. The current one was cracked. I had already removed the toilet and wax seal so it was easy for the tech to inspect the issue. After inspecting the issue for a full 30 seconds I was told the only way to deal with the issue was to jackhammer up the concrete and essential destroy the bathroom. I immediately said no. What he didn't know is I knew how to do the work, it wasn't that difficult. I only called because I didn't want to do it myself. Well an hour later and a trip to he parts store I installed the new flange. Will not be calling Greenwell for any kind of service in the future, and I will be spreading the word of the poor service.
Also the tech sat in his van for an additional 45 minutes after he exited the home. A little odd, stealing time maybe? Also green Mohawk? Maybe repping the GREENwell brand but a little unprofessional if you ask me.
Drexler will be my choice in the future.
Jeffrey D.Responsive, professional, courteous, polite, and extremely qualified in their disciplines! I had plumbers out installing an electric backup sump pump and an HVAC technician installing a whole home dehumidifier on the same day! They did not stop at 5pm, but stayed until their respective jobs were completed. The plumbers even discovered a serious builder defect that resulted in the release of the toxic and noxious hydrogen sulfide gas into our home. Schuler Homes vented the sewage gases directly into our living spaces AND mere inches away from an HVAC cold air return facilitating the circulation of this adverse health hazard (respiratory distress, severe headaches, etc.) into our entire home for the 3 months we had lived in this brand new home! My family had suffered respiratory distress, severe coughing attacks, dizziness, and headaches only weeks after we bought and moved into this toxin ridden home! When Schuler Homes was notified, they did NOT accept accountability or offer an APOLOGY to my family for their physical and psychological distress! Schuler Homes preaches customer service, but that's only on paper. Stay away from Michael David Schuler's homes!!! But not for the Greenwell employees, my family would have continued with their respiratory distress and, quite possibly, could have died in their sleep! Thank you Devin & Cody! You likely saved the lives of my wife and son!!!!
Quick and you cant beat their prices and wonderful customer service and plumbers! I will be keeping them in my phone book and telling other about them.
Had a new 40 gallon gas water heater installed a year ago this month. In a garage, no steps, all concrete floors, all kinds of room to work around. Super easy installation.Cost $1700.. and I didn't really pay attention at the time, but now being made aware by my furnace and air install people, that this new water heater is literally touching the back of the furnace, and could be an issue for installing a new furnace. The old water they took out had good 6 to 8 inches gap away from the furnace. I was told by my furnace people that this is not necessarily out of code, but it's typically not done unless there are space issues, of which there are no space issues in my garage where this was installed . There is plenty of room all around. There was absolutely no reason to install the new water heater touching the furnace. And, The plumber did not mention it at the time. So I called to inform them of this issue a couple weeks ago. They came out and looked at the install and admitted that they knew it was touching, they even had pictures. But, now they want $400 to $500 more dollars to move it over 8 inches.. stating that the $1700 install price was a ""standard install ""price. Of which I was never informed of that at the time of original install. So if the pipes and lines (and the planets too I guess) don't line up just perfectly, it's now considered MORE than a ""standard install"". And, it would only take changing one 10"" gas pipe nipple.to a 4"" nipple, and cutting out 6 inches of copper on two horizontal copper pipes, then re-sweating the elbows back on to move this. And of course, drain refill and relight. I told them that, had I been informed at the time of install, that it was touching the furnace . I would've insisted that it not be touching like the original one was not. But I'm sure the plumber was making it as easy as he could for himself by just lining up the copper pipes coming straight down, and crimping them on and connecting the gas line.
My furnace install people said this touching water heater could be an issue for installing a new furnace.
Greenwell plumbing should make this right. Just as it should have been done right in the first place. And for no charge.
I guess they are not thinking that I also have a twenty plus year old water heater in my house that will need replacing soon.
Very Disappointed!
About 8 years ago we hired Greenwell to do our plumbing in a re-model of a new house we purchased. Fast forward to 2024.
We had trouble with our toilet flushing and removed it to replace only to find out there was ROT under the toilet they installed. the obvious reason? They didn't use the correct size wax ring!! I had to tear up the subfloor wood and replace our laminate.
As if that wasn't enough! a few WEEKS ago we had our water supply interrupted as a telecom truck hit a line. When they turned the flow back on we had a massive leak on our other bathroom. Again I had to do major repairs myself. Greenwell plumbing???
Yes they also did our other bathrooms plumbing and GET THIS: they put on new piping below the floor, new piping under the sink and left the SAME CORRODED WEAK PIPE IN THE FLOOR. Which like their work in the other bathroom had a small leak.
I honestly would think of suing these incompetent (insert curse words) XXXXXX but it's been 8 years ago and well past the statute of limitations. My bank doesn't even keep records from that long ago so I can't show payments.
I do indeed have pictures and here they are:
1. Me removing rotten wood caused from the slow leak due to the short incorrect wax ring they used

2. Me showing Greenwell's new plastic pipe below the floor to the old corroded pipe...why?

3. Me showing Greenwell's new plastic pipe ABOVE the old corroded pipe. Why?
https://i.postimg.cc/FzdymdNk/IMG-9935.jpg
4, The rot and damage in my OTHER bathroom as I was repairing it, Greenwell leaving corroded and leaking old section of pipe was the cause

Oh and the brilliant and very special Greenwell guys put the hot water and cold water on reverse sides...backwards. No image but the temperature didn't match the color code.
If you see Greenwell or someone advises you to use them I would run.
All of the above is MY STRONG OPINION and advice.

An update to a previous review--three months later, when the electronics on our 25-yr-old hot water heater went out, Dylan came out that day and went through our options with us. I asked a LOT of questions, which Dylan answered via text (even on a Sunday), and I did a ton of research and decided I wanted the AO Smith commercial grade, which wasn't what they typically install. I recieved the HWH on Thursday, and Dylan worked it into his Friday afternoon and was here until 7 PM, not how I would have wanted to spend my Friday evening. I'm not a plumber, but the install was very clean and looks top-notch. Outstanding and professional service. So glad I have a go-to plumber when needed. Thanks again!
Roger R.We had Greenwell Plumbing and heating come out to do an estimate for installation of a toilet, pit pump, shower and corner sink and another utility sink. Aaron Jackson was the technician that provided the estimate in a very reasonable time.
We had a few items that needed to be completed before the work could be done; but he still provided an estimate.
Other remodeling was completed made a few changes of the above and he quickly re-did the estimate to adjust it.
Contacted Greenwell to move forward and schedule it.
Scheduling was quick and Aaron showed as scheduled and started the work. He continually keep us in the loop as he progressed or if he had a question for our input before performing a the task just to be sure we were okay with what he was going to do or provided some other options.
He a wonderful person and good technician. He always cleaned up after himself which in itself is a testament to his standards. ( we had other workers that that just didn't seem part of their job, it makes a difference)
This is the 2 nd time this year we have used Greenwell and have been pleased with the staff and work performed.
We recommend them and if you get a choice we recommend Aaron Jackson.
Also the staff, Karen Watts was great to communicate with throughout this process.
Kudos all around!
Very fast, friendly, and price friendly. When another company canceled, I called Greenwell and they had a technician out within 2 hours and had my problem solved,
