These Guys know what's up! My wife and I were in the market for a new AC unit and we did a ton of shopping around. We called ARS and Vince came by and gave us the best quote out of everyone. The guy was on top of it and even upgraded us for a minimum charge. If you are in the market for heating or AC call and ask for Vince.

ARS did an awesome job replacing our ac and furnace. Vince came out and went above and beyond what I was expecting. We knew it was time to replace everything but he still made sure to do a thorough inspection of the equipment including the ducts. Vince even took the time to patch up a spot he thought was concerning. He had a great attitude and after discussing everything with him, we were excited to move on to the next phase. Ok, we didn't go with this company. They are the sub contractors for our local Home Depot, so, I presumed they would do a half decent job?

Tech arrived, dressed in a casual attire! Nothing on him indicated that he was with Ars or for that fact, any heating or AC company at all. On top of that, he brought in a sharpie and a used sheet of paper, which he ended up scribbling the quote on.

We needed some major work...Furnace, coil, duct replacement, and insulation in the attic. He looked briefly and then started writing a quote. He didn't even bother to look in the attic, which is where a major part of the job is! How can you make a recommendation or estimate if you don't even look at what needs to be done?! Needless to say, didn't hire them. FYI, an estimate written with a sharpie on a used piece of paper doesn't really instill the greatest of confidence in your abilities, let alone not even looking at the area that needs the work.

I ask a few questions, namely regarding the process of cleaning and sanitizing the article...he gave me a confused look and couldn't give me an answer as to what they do! Obviously, the training and knowledge is extremely lacking. Beware!

I had the delightfully and pleasurable experience today to have service a call on my Tagucghi thankless water heater. The technician, ""DOC"" was extremely well versed and knowledgeable which by itself was a refreshing change from other service entities, Hew was polite, courteous, efficient and very personable. He did a complete check and advised me of the risk and potential shortcomings of various plumbing issues and deteriorations. I ultimately, through his recommendation did some preventative measures because of his expertise. I would gladly welcome him back to my home and frankly would like to have another service visit the end 2014 or early 2015 with him again. The one on corona tried to sell me a over
Priced system I did not need. I asked for a refund, the manager said yes but never gave it. He then called the contractors board on the heating guy that did the work that was actually needed. Guess ARS has nothing better to do. If you are a single woman watch out for this chain!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Wasted an entire morning while Chad showed up 1-1/2 hours late then took his time fixing a faucet. Quoted an outrageous price for a 10 minute. UPDATE: Greenstar did try to make amends by sending out a second technician.

Greenstarhomeservices did a great job. They showed up on time and were very professional on entering the home. I had called them,after seeing their trucks in our area, to take care of a clogged drain. Not only did they clear my drain but were able to take care of a water flow issue we have been experiencing for the past 6 months or so. I can't speak for the other comments but the pricing I found extremely far for the service I received. I need a new water heater soon and will be calling Greenstarhomeservices back out to do it. Thank you for great and professional service.

Green Star came to my 89 year old Mothers house for a 1 year check up on her water heater they installed about a year ago, they sent her a card in the mail stating it was time for her free check up that came with the purchase. As I said my Mom is 89, and a bit forgetfull and easily confused, she thought she told me they were coming out but she hadnt, if she had she would not have been charged over $1600.00 dollars for 3 under sink shut off valves, that are $10 dollar parts, a pressure regulator and a new kitchen Faucet, none of these parts were malfunctioning or needed replacement, they were working fine. The initial bill was over $2000.00 before her ""member discount.""
I would avoid this company like Herpes, they prey on old people and take advantage of them, she was over charged by at lease $1000.00 according to other plumbers I have spoken with and knowing how much the parts they used cost at Home Depot, this company is very dishonest. I will also be contacting the BBB, The Register and filing a complaint with the state contractors licence board.
