My mother saw an add come through in Laguna Woods, really cheap checkup for her Air Conditioner. The guy shows up, does his quick check then helps himself up in the attic. He comes down with pictures of the venting, that mysteriously has cuts into it. My brother works construction, and can recognize when someone uses a knife to cut holes into venting. Either the place or the people who work there are bad. Don't trust them unless you are watching them VERY close.

I have a Rheem tankless water heater and it was not lighting intermittently. I called RighTime and explained the situation. I emphasized that it was a tankless water heater and the repair person needed to be familiar with tankless problems. When the plumber arrived and I discussed the problem with him, it was obvious that he had no clue about tankless water heaters - and could not offer any help for our problem. I paid him his service fee and he left. A few days later, I called Rheem and talked with a technical support person. After I described the problem she told me the most likely cause was a dirty ignitor rod or a failing ignitor coil. She also emailed me a ""Troubleshooting Guide"" for the unit. Just to be safe, I ordered a new ignitor coil (about $6) and, using the troubleshooting guide, removed and cleaned the ignitor rod. Looks like that's what the problem was - no issues since I cleaned the rod.
There's no reason why a technician (not a plumber) couldn't have made the same suggestions. I assume this type of problem is similar in all makes of tankless water heaters. He could have even called Rheem technical support and received the same advice that I received. But, no, he did absolutely nothing.
My evaluation is that RighTime sent me a useless ""wrench turner"" and not a tankless water heater technician.

I sent this same text to RighTime and never received a response.

All them want is to sale the item to you. I called them to come to check the heating, I was told $8500 for replace heating or $2250 for repair. OMG! I called another company, and they fixed the issue right away and professionally. Will never recommend this company.

RighTime did a great job on the maintenance of my air conditioning. They did a full tune up on the unit and greatly improved the efficiency of it by making it easier for us to access the filter. Manuel and Patrick did our maintenance and I would definitely recommend their service. Informative, friendly, and most importantly they don't try to offer things you don't need.

RighTime is the way to go.

These guys are the worst. They overcharged me by $100 + on a water heater fix and today they did not show up for an AC maintenance appointment. Then they called and left a VM saying I had to call if I did not want to keep the appointment! What?! So I called after waiting all day, and they did not answer the phone. Very poor customer service.

Very poor commitment. Had to reschedule ones and then tech could not make it within the 2 hr window that the company gives the customer. Will not deal with them again.
