Upon the recommendation of a neighbor, I had an annual inspection contract with them for my A/C, Furnace, and Water Heater. Every time they came out during the initial years they always found something that needed upgrading. Last week during the pre summer a/c check they said I needed Freon and had a leak, but the unit was old and should be replaced (for about $15,000+). Good thing I went for a second opinion. As I watched the technician perform his test, there was no leak, the system was full, and the system worked perfectly. Obviously something is wrong, and I leave it to the reader to ascertain the solution. I will NOT be renewing my Greenstar contract.

I have never been more disgusted with the behavior of any company before my mother did business with Greenstar Home Services. My mother is elderly and recently widowed. She found Greenstar Home Services online and called them out to retrieve an earring that had been dropped in her bathroom sink. There was no stopper in this sink or the second bathroom sink. Greenstar Home Services came out and then completely took advantage of her. They told her she needed to replace both sinks completely, replaced both faucets. Then she told them that the stopper does not work in her bathtub, and instead of just fixing that, they told her she needed a whole new shower valve, which was not even related to the problem. As if all this was not bad enough, they grossly overcharged her for all the work that was not even necessary to begin with. They charged her $2,000 to replace the shower valve, and I am pretty sure they only replaced the trim itself. (Trip kit is $30 at Home Depot). Funny thing, the valve worked before they worked on it and now it does not. They charged her $500 to replace the angle stop valves on both sinks, which is a pretty simple job, and the parts are 8$ a piece. Then for the sinks and faucets... the exact same parts are at home depot for less than $200 per set, and they charged her $2500 to replace both of them. All because they need a new stopper installed. The stopper parts range from $8-20 depending if they needed just the stopper or the whole assembly. All told, they charged $5,200 for work that never needed to be completed. And on top of all that, they charged her $119 for their discount membership club (annual membership club) to give her such great discount pricing. They also charged her $102 to remove the earring from the P-Trap that they had to remove to install the new sinks anyways. Unfortunately my mother did not call me for advice because she did not want to bother me and trusted these trained scam artists and got seriously taken advantage of. I have already gotten a quote from another reputable plumber in her area for under $1,000 for all the work that was done, even though none of it was necessary in the first place. All the parts were under $500 from Home Depot, and that included a shower valve, which I don't even thin they replaced. I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau, the state's Atty General, Elderwatch (AARP) as well as taking this company to small claims court for this obvious and systematic elder abuse. The initial technician that came out and started the whole scam was Ronny, his supervisor Robert later joined him and they also brought in Danny and Mike to hang around and make it look like a significant amount of work needed to be done. I have been through several remodels of my one and have hired many plumbers. The total scope of work could have easily been handled by one competent plumber in less than a day's work

last month I asked to check my heater. we just moved to new house and heater wasn't working. (fan seems working but wasn't get warm and we had nest system.) and he told me furnace controller is broken so either change panel or replace whole system. also they cannot guarantee they can fix panel. they suggested replace system. and I called other place today and he told me heater is fine. just wifi nest wasn't connected right. he fixed in 5min. I called and complained about this. wanted refund.. of curse they will not. people seem nice on the phone. but wish they are more pro with their work.

They do stand by their promise to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with their work and followed through with that promise. I would recommend this company to others but make sure in the beginning of your repair work everything is clear.....labor, parts and the final cost to you the customer. An honest company with integrity which is hard to find these days.

THIS COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE!!! BUYER BEWARE! I bought a maintenance package with Greenstar after they repaired my AC unit and they have cancelled their appointment with us twice. I have tenants renting my property where they have had to set aside time for these appointments and then they cancel on you less then an hour before they are scheduled to arrive. They claim there is nothing they can do and that they don't have a technician available. Well then don't schedule the appointment to begin with. They have been a major inconvenience.

My furnace just stopped coming on. My house stayed at 54. I called RighTime on 2/8/19 about 4:45 pm & Gregg was here at 6:15 pm. The issue was the blower motor was over heating, & shut down the furnace. Gregg was excellent. He explained everything I didn't know about how a furnace worked! He was exceptional in making sure I understood the problem & the possible resolutions. I chose to replace the motor and hopefully keep the system running without further problems. He was here until after 8 pm. He never acted rushed to get the job completed. Gregg knows how to provide excellent customer service & he is obviously very knowledgeable about his speciality. He called in advance of arrival, was on time, professional, introduced himself, used booties, was polite, friendly, and very informative. He even let us know we had old termite and rat excrement in the attic that he noticed while checking the duct work ( even though they don't sell, recommend, or make money from pest cont service ). That was very helpful to know. Couldn't have been more pleased. One of the best repairmen I have come across in 25 years.
