Bunch of thieves! We had an issue with water leaking near our toilet. Some kid gets sent over. Whatever, everyone has to start somewhere and he tells us about his experience working with his dad and his team. First issue was when he ignored me when I told him the leak was coming from the wall or the pipe under the wall. Told me it was a valve issue. Thought he knew hs stuff so we let him do his attempt. Took off my toilet (its a little important), took out the pump inside, and replaced the water connection. Surprise surprise. That wasnt the issue. He finally looks under the house and tells us water is leaking like we told him. We talk a for a bit while he tries to charm us. Tell us he needs to replace the pipe and needs to set a claim with Old Republic. He ends up telling us its a $200 fee for materials and cost of labor to do it. This is weird as old republic is good about certain policies and THEY ARE! THIS KID LIED TO US! He put down that the cost was for the materials and work, but it was because he wanted to remove a piece of wall and recurve the pipe in a way that was not in accordance with old republic. When we confronted him on this, he told us HIS BOSS TELLS HIM TO FOR COMPANY POLICY!!! Never trust these horrible people. Should be ashamed of themselves. Oh and about the toilet, he left it off and never bothered to put it back on nor offered to.

I generally never leave reviews and I completely understand companies and people get busy. But this has been such a horrible experience that I want to warn other people about this company.
We were assigned them from our HOI. The short version, guy forgot his stud finder, told me his manger would be back the next day to finish installing the earthquake straps on our water heater. That was months ago. We've had multiple earthquakes since then. Finally after threatening to put a stop payment on, we got a call back. Guys came a few days later, but didn't have the piece they needed. Told me they had two jobs to do and would be back that day to finish. That was weeks ago. They won't pick up or return our calls. This company and their work, or lack there of, is a huge liability. 0/5 stars.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional and understaffed company. I scheduled an appointment with them through American home shield warranty one month ago for the replacement of 2 showerheads and a valve for the washing machine. I have had now 3 appointments with them with today being the third. They were supposed to show up this morning between 9am and 11am and they were a no call no show. I called all morning about 5 times with no one picking up. American home shield also called them twice and they still didn't pick up. I highly recommend not using this company as you can see from all the reviews they are unable to follow through with their appointments and are not committed to fixing your issues. STAY AWAY!

Was able to schedule an appointment within 2 days. Service tech went above and beyond, Traveling to a second store to make sure that I received my preferred faucet. Very professional, friendly, great communicators. Tech carried an N95 mask and covers for shoes. Took time to explain to me the issue and make recommendations not just for the issue I called about but other areas In my home that might be affected as a result. I used my home warranty for this service however, I would definitely call them if I needed bigger projects completed.

Absolute criminals. Avoid like Bubonic plague!! Technician came to my home when dispatched by my insurance company to resolve a sink stoppage. Vendor informed me he needed to return with appropriate tool to complete request. Vendor left my property, closed out case with insurance and collected payment. NEVER has returned any calls or messages of which I have left multiple. After a week of no sink and no contact I had to bring in another out of pocket plumbing service who came promptly, rectified the problem and cleaned up the mess left by Greenlife. I think they are running an insurance fraud operation not a plumbing service. BBB notified and caution alerts put out to HOA in area. Horrifying service. I will now leave a rave review for the service who cleaned up their mess. As a medical professional. In THEIR hour of need they better hope I'm more skilled in CPR and chest compressions than they are at their job. They sure as hell wouldn't get us thru Covid. Good luck

I made a request for repair through my home warranty company (AHS) and was assigned a plumber with Greenlife. Carlos called on a Tuesday evening, and an appointment was scheduled for Thursday between 10am-1pm. At around 2pm on Thursday, I attempted to reach out to Greenlife because no one had yet to show up for the appointment. I left a message, and have still not received a call back. I looked online at my AHS account, and saw the time was changed to 8:42pm-9:42pm, which is outrageous in itself. Still, no one showed up. Today, I chatted with AHS to inform them that no one showed up to my house for the appointment and that I wanted to be assigned to a different contractor or to cancel the order. AHS contacted Carlos who said my appointment was for today, Friday, which was absolutely not true. I canceled the work order altogether after this mess. This is a terrible way to run a business, and by the looks of the other reviews, I am not the only person who has had issues with scheduling and no one showing up/calling back.

In all my 48-year life, I have never dealt with any company that is as bad with scheduling and communication.

1) Appointment was set for Tuesday 9-11am. They did not show up.
2) Then the time was randomly updated to 6-7pm (without notifying or confirming with me). They did not show up again!
3) The time was randomly updated to Wednesday 2-5pm (without notifying or confirming with me, see the theme?!). They did not show up again!
4) I called and left several voicemails. No one ever called me back.
5) A contractor finally (but randomly) showed up on Thursday (without notifying or confirming with me-- surprised?). Luckily, someone was home.
6) After giving an indication that they would return the next day to complete the work, they did not return (as expected).

I wasted 2 days from work trying to catch them moving the appointments all around and not talking to me. No one from the front office, and I mean absolutely no one, called me over that week throughout all of that, despite me leaving multiple voicemails. Due to their incompetence going into Easter weekend, I had to spend out-of-pocket money for parts and labor ($350, on top of the $100 for their visit that did nothing) with another local plumbing company. The issue was then resolved same-day.

Absolutely horrendous experience. I will also be canceling my policy with my home warranty.

I started a claim with Old Republic Home Protection on 1/29/24. I was ""assigned"" to Greenlife Plumbing. At first Carlos was quick to respond and set an appointment to come out a few days later. Great! So far, so good. The hot water fixture snapped off on my Roman Tub. I'm thinking this would be a pretty simple job. Well, he stated he didn't have the cartridges to repair the handle itself and stated he would have to go through the tile. At first, Carlos told me he would have to charge me $250 to remove a square section of tile and I would have to sign a waiver regarding the tile. I pushed back on the charge to remove tile because I paid my $85 trade fee and felt the entire repair should be included. He agreed to waive the $250 ""to keep me happy"" but a waiver would still need to be signed. Ok, no problem. Lets go!

Here's where everything went sideways. Call after call, text after text. No response.

Where are you Carlos? No response for 2 weeks. I finally called Old Republic to request a different plumbing company and their stance was, since they already came out I was stuck with them unless I wanted a ""cash out"" to do the repairs myself. Wow! I got F'd on this claim. After my 2nd call to Old Republic demanding a new plumber I finally get a call back from Carlos. He stated he was waiting on the waiver. I told him I never received the waiver. He claimed it was emailed. Yeah, sure buddy! He stated he would have his ""front office"" reach out to me to verify my email. That never happened. I was so frustrated at this point. The claim is a month old and I still have a broken fixture. I GIVE UP!

I took the cash out and called All City Plumbing. Although I would be paying an extra $1,000 out of pocket. I didn't care. The peace of mind is worth it. All City (Ivan) came out and assessed the repair. I was told they didn't have to go through the tile and would be able to fix the hot water faucet with a cartridge. Worst case scenario they might have to go through the drywall. NOT THE TILE!

I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet. Greenlife is a sh*t plumbing company. Thank God they never started the repair.

After reading all these super negative reviews I feel like I was the lucky one. If I could give them 0 stars I would have. You will regret dealing with and using Greenlife for any of your plumbing needs!

**YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. BEWARE OF GREENLIFE PLUMBING**

I am posting this review quite some time after I dealt with this company, mainly in an effort to do my due diligence before reacting online. I found myself in the most unfortunate position of having a leak in the slab of my home. Adding to the mess was the fact that I was living across the country, and I had tenants in my home at the time. I was assigned Greenlife Plumbing through my home warranty company (AHS). I understand the complicated nature of having to deal with both the owner of the property for authorization etc, and also the tenants for scheduling and availability. However, smartphones really make this situation much easier than ever before. First of all, scheduling even the initial visit proved to be difficult, as the ""pro"" I was in contact with, Carlos, was minimally responsive with me and the tenant. She was told they would be coming one day and they simply never showed. 3 days later is when they finally came, and then the actual leak detection wasn't for another 2 days. The delay (over two weeks) in beginning the actual work isn't the fault of Greenlife, so I won't hold that against them. It was a matter of approval from the home warranty company. In the meantime, Carlos was pressuring me to move forward with repairs without authorization from AHS by means of telling me that if I didn't agree to begin the repairs ""now"", he may not be available for several more weeks. At this point it had been nearly two weeks that my tenants were without hot water. After several weeks of communicating, Carlos knew I was over a barrel being in Virginia and trying to have this taken care of right before Christmas with two extremely (rightfully) upset tenants. I reluctantly agreed to begin repairs at the risk of not getting anything covered by home warranty. Repairs began and I was warned there could be damage to cabinets, etc. Carlos told me he would do his best to avoid cabinetry, but also let me know that his guys would leave behind the drywall pieces they cut out so that the drywall repair people could pop those back into the holes and fix things back up. He did not leave the drywall. And they destroyed baseboards. When connecting the new pipes to the drains in the bathroom, I was informed that both drains needed to be replaced. Carlos told me he would send me a link to purchase the parts and he would install for me. He never did. During the plumbing repair, my tenant made me aware that one of the two sink drains in the bathroom had been leaking. After the plumbing repair, both drains started leaking. Carlos told me he was waiting for approval from AHS to repair a 2nd water heater in the garage. I have asked about the water heater. I have asked about the drains. I was told (by Carlos) that he was unresponsive because he was on vacation and also had a funeral to attend (the two reasons that people use when they don't want to be questioned). I hired somebody else to attempt to fix the leaking drains and was informed that the plumbers did things in such a way to actually cause the leak in the 2nd drain, and that there is a water drip situation in the shower that I will be addressing next. The person who is fixing the drains told me he is not surprised that Carlos has ghosted me with all of the crap they left behind for me to have to deal with.
Had I known I was going to be paying out of pocket for this (unfortunately home warranty offered less than $1k for this nearly $10k repipe), I would have hired a local, trustworthy company of my own choosing.
Carlos preyed upon my vulnerability as someone not familiar with plumbing issues, as a desperate landlord living across the country, as someone trying to avoid water damage in my home, and as someone trying to restore hot water to my tenants in the wintertime. I have been told by many that the contractors who do business through home warranty companies are not paid nearly as much as when they are hired directly by customers. Now I know why he pressured me to agree to begin repairs without authorization. He bilked me for probably several thousand extra dollars, he left my home an absolute WRECK, he threw away the drywall that would have been helpful in having a nice repair job done to the walls (and whether or not it would have helped he told me it would be there for that purpose), and he left the bathroom sinks and shower in worse condition than when he arrived. And then he disappeared. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. Riverside is full of skilled plumbers, find someone else. And if your home warranty company assigns them, suck it up and pay another service fee to have somebody else come.

Updating my review as of 3/23 to add that none of the new pipes in the attic crawl space have been secured down and ALL OF MY HVAC DUCTING HAS TO BE REPLACED because the plumbers trampled it during the installation of the new pipes. Unbelievable.
