I contacted Greendian after being referred by my home warrranty company. When I initially called I was told that someone would call me back in 5 minutes. 3 hours later I called and was put on hold for 20 minutes. I then called my home warranty company who contacted them and scheduled an appointment for repair of my a/c. Today it was 86 degrees in my house! They did'nt show up for the appointment or even call. My opinion of this company - unprofessional, incompetent and totally unreliable. No home warranty company should use them and I really
don't understand why after all these horrible reviews that they are still in business!

i have a home warranty. My microwave stopped working so the warranty company gave me this company. I had to call the company to set up an appt bc no one ever called me. the guys arrive 3 days later..at the end of the time slot, of course. they didn't clean up after themselves, or put things back where they were. they told me they had to order a part and would be back in 3-4 days. yeah right! 2 1/2 wks later they were scheduled to come back. the NIGHT before my appt i received a TEXT message rescheduling my appt for the next day and gave me a time. no phone call, no reason, nothing! as if i have all day to sit around, and have to rearrange my schedule again! so guy shows up to finally repair my microwave, and asks me for a step stool and a screw driver! doesn't even have one with him.

I don't know why they say by appointment only when they don't show up for appointments. I took off work early and these people didn't show up or call to come look at my AC. My home warranty company selected them and it took over a week to schedule the appointment. The lady on the phone was incompetent at best. I even called 45 minutes into the appointment time and she said they were running late (but didn't call me) but would be there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I gave them one star because I was forced to. Front desk couldn't find our claim from our warranty company for 36 hours then had to be walked through it by warranty company. Then didn't call us to schedule. Warranty company insisted an appointment was in the system, which could only come from Greendian. You guessed it. Appt time passed and no show. Called Greendian...no record of CLAIM OR APPOINTMENT. Escalated, got an appointment for TWO DAYS later. Again...window of time passed.....NO SHOW. Called. NO RECORD OF APPOINTMENT. My husband got someone out for a 5 min appt that afternoon. Said they would submit the paperwork to our warranty company (it was Friday afternoon)....called them yesterday to confirm it had been submitted...was told it had been that day. Today, Tuesday, called warranty company...You guessed it. NO RECORD OF paperwork submitted. DO NOT use this company unless you enjoy awful communication, incompetence and massive amounts of frustration and wasted time.

I was assigned this HVAC company from my home warranty company for an issue with my furnace. The company scheduled me for the next day. The technician called me on the day of the appointment to see if he could come early. The technician was thorough, professional, and very patient with my questions. He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend this company.

The absolute worst company ever ""GREENDIAN"", I've had two experiences with this company, mainly because my home warranty service (AHS, American Home Shield), the first encounter I had with them was when my AC/HEAT unit in my game room stopped working, they were dispatched to my home and accessed the situation, they stated my unit needed a new compressor, mind you the unit was only two years old, they wanted $845 to repair it, $400 which would have been my cost, of course I refused, I contacted another company and they evaluated the situation and found a small leak and repaired it, total cost $200, the compressor was totally fine, they thought they could make a quick buck, WRONG!

The second time I had to deal with company (again thru AHS) was in march 2017 when my main heat unit for the house stopped working, it had been working fine, but we had a bad ice storm and the power in my neighborhood went out, when the power was restored the unit wasn't working, when Greendian arrived they accessed everything stating my coolant was low, they filled it up at a cost of $575 and left the unit worked for 8 hours and stopped working, they was dispatched back to my home, and finally determined it had a leak, then they said I needed a new coil, then they brought the wrong coil, then it was another leak in the unit, in all they was at my house about 10 times from March to the present day, on top of that they failed to show up 6 times after they set the appointment, nor did they call me to inform me they wasn't coming, that's 6 days I took off from work and waited each time for Greendian not to show up, when I called stating no one showed up they want to argue with you saying they didn't have the part, or the technician was sick, of course I called the day before each time to ensure they was coming, ensuring they had the part, and the dispatchers always assured me they was coming, and had the part, but when you complain about them not showing up they become rude and disrespectful, saying you never talked to them the day before or ever spoke to them, mind you I knew the name of each dispatcher I spoke to, finally I gave up and called another company and had them fix the problem, and guess what the problem was? a simple hole in the pipe on the outside unit, total cost $75 to repair the hole, and the cost of the coolant, I cannot stress the importance of staying away from this company, and these home warranty services, its all a way to convince you that your saving money, but the fact is they contract these sub par companies that cant keep customers due too poor service, inadequate techs fresh out of HVAC school, and rude dispatchers, your best bet, go online and find a certified company to service your home, that way you save time, money, and most of all peace of mind, and not get taken by a crooked companies like Greendian & AHS.

If I can give this company 0 stars I would. They didn't show up for he first appointment. When they came the second time, they flat out missed diagnosed my AC. The guy spent 3 minutes at the house and said the ac compressor was shot. Worst of all, they never reported it back to my home warranty company after several attempt of me asking them to in order to get the parts. We have not had ac in 3 weeks.

It turns out that it wasn't the compressor at all. They wanted to charge me for the super expensive part.

Save yourself the frustration and headache. There are a lot of other honest heating and repair companies in the area to choose from like Triple E.

The most awful, unprofessional service. They were sent out to check out our AC by the home warranty company. A month and a half and five broken appointments later, we are still without AC -- and it's a simple, 20-min repair. You call and they give you the run around, empty promises, and -- oh -- they will lie to get you off the phone.

This is the WORST company EVER!!! I have been dealing with them since June 13th. They originally sent a tech to diagnose the issue with my A/C. Once the diagnosis was completed, they scheduled an appt the following Saturday to install. A second techincian shows up on Saturday, for what we thought was an install, & it turned out to be another diagnosis. Miscommunication in the office.

At this point, we are one week without A/C with 90 degree temperatures. I asked for an appt asap for the install. They put me off another week & a half, for a Thursday appt. I raised Holy H*ll, & they pushed it up to the Friday before. That Friday, the day of the appt, they called and CANCELLED, claiming that the install tech had an ""emergency"". Upon that time, they informed me that the next appt wouldn't be until a week from tomorrow. I asked for the original appt for this Thursday, which is no longer available.

During all of this chaos, I have been called by various operators there, who sound like they're barely out of high school, & given various incorrect information. All the while, the owner, CHRIS, has not returned any of my calls.

On top of everything, they had the NERVE to tell me that they needed my credit card to charge for the job BEFORE the work was done. I refused.

Today is Monday, July 3rd. The work is still not done.

I told my home warranty company that they need to remove Greendian from their vendor list. If ZERO stars were available, that's what I'd give them. They don't even deserve that!

Stay away from this company AT ALL COSTS!

Update as of July 24. The air conditioning was repaired, and it has broken again. I have requested the home warranty send ANYBODY but them to repair. My understanding is that warranty company is not using them anymore due to complaints. Some justice.

I place a service request with AmericanHomeShield (a home warranty company) for my Air Conditioning on 05/18/2017. AHS subcontracted Greendian to do the Job. On 05/19/2017, after a long wait (more than 6 Hrs), A technician from Greendian showed up. The technician diagnosed the problem and promised to order parts that needed replacement. The following day, I received a call and email notification to replace the parts on 06/09/2017. I was hoping that the technician would show up with the said parts on this day of June 9. After 2 hours of waiting, an agent called and notified me that the technician ordered a wrong part. I was told that they were going to order another part (the right part). On this same day, another technician came to my house and took the model# of the machine to order the right part. Today is June 19th. it's a little over one Month since I placed my request. In this Hot summer of June, It's now past 1 hour after the expected arrival time for the technician. No one showed up. I'm on the phone (on hold for over 20min of course) while I'm writing this review. I have filed my complaint with the BBB too.
I don't recommend Greendian to anyone.
