Peter G.On the positive, they were very responsive initially and showed up the next day. I also liked Joe, he seemed nice and knowledgeable.
On the negative, our water problem was not fixed, despite Joe spending ~3 hours working on it and assuring us that it would be fixed going forward. He also took off all of our faucet filters, ran to Home Depot to get replacements, bought the wrong sizes, ordered new ones, and told us he'd be back the next day to re-install. He then came up with an excuse as to why he couldn't come every single day for the next 10 days (10!) before I finally gave up and hired a different plumber.
To recap, our water problem was not fixed. Our faucets, which had worked previously, now no longer work. Joe is not responsive, and I don't think is ever planning to return with our parts. I feel like they just took $200 from us without any return on that money. Very frustrating experience, would not recommend to anyone.
Greeenacre Plumbing came out to change pipes under the sink and also to clean out clogged drains. They did a great job and were reasonably priced.
Greenacre Plumbing is a reasonable and fairly priced company to handle your plumbing needs. He takes care of his customers and installed a gas line in 2020 and repaired a line leak in 2021. The staff are great and take care of you. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs over the bigger companies like FH Furr because this company is more responsive and more fairly priced compared to many of the bigger companies.
This is in response to Ivy L. 12/26/2020. I've used Greenacre Plumbing several times and Alvin too on two different houses and have never had anything but good service from them.
What I don't understand is, if what you are saying is true, then why did'nt you call the police?
I don't believe your story because Jeff and his crew are not like that. You need to explain if this happened, why you did not call the police.
Watch Alvin if he comes to your home. He will help himself to your property. I have evidence of looking through my stuff. And if he brings a really tall man with him, they will wipe you out.
My mistake was I did not follow him or them around. Should not have to do that. I learned my lesson. I paid Alvin cash each time he came, he would do one thing at a time. The last time he was here is when he had the tall man with him and said he was his son.
Alvin did not show up the next day and would not answer the phone BECAUSE he relieved me of a brand new Ninja pressure cooker, the big one that was sitting by the steps as you leave my house. It was them because Noone Else had been here. He took my hand truck, my kurig coffee maker, a red electric candle that is a heater as well. There's lots more. Everything was still in the box on my first floor. I did not watch him leave because I had no reason not to trust him so I thought.
My porch light was out so it was easy for him at night. He touched other boxes picking and choosing, touching things that have Nothing to do with a plumbing job.
Jeff does excellent work, he installed my water heater that's why I wanted to use his company again. They must change phones because sometimes you get Jeff and most other times you get Alvin.
Lock your belongings up if you decide to let Alvin in your house and you can't follow him around. Oh yeah, you have to check behind him to make sure he has done what you ask Before you pay him cash.
Zenia B.I received a new request from Jeff's attorney on 25 March 2020 for a letter dated 23 March 2020. Even during a pandemic, Jeff lacks compassion and has not moral compass. I've paid this man the initial fee and the ""fee"" for his time that DPOR used to ultimately find him at fault for performing work without a permit.
Although the court agreed that I should pay for his time for the DPOR investigation, Jeff failed to ""sue"" me for his time for the training that DPOR determined that he needed. This is basically double jeopardy. Instead of suing me again for something he basically already sued me for, now he's using a lawyer as a scare tactic. This man is relentlessly difficult and unprofessional.
I received the official summons from a Prince William County Sheriff on 18 July 2019. In Jeff's words: ""Gave a pump for use. 8 months later pump failed. Defendant and Greenacre agreed with inspector to change pump -no charge if defendant supplied. The agreed to stop job [sic]. Incurred cost of permit, meet admin [sic] with DPOR and county, is above she moved existing system because it failed [sic].""
Jeff admitted that he installed a sump pump that didn't even last 12 months. He purchased it from Lowe's, but did not give me a copy of the proof of purchase. I was unable to request warranty support from the manufacturer because of this. Jeff knowingly did the work at my home without a permit, complained with the county that the work was done without a permit, and now wants me to cover those cost he incurred for securing the permit. Be mindful that Jeff will sue you if you leave an honest review about your experience with his business, so please document your encounters and ensure that your contract is thorough.
Molly F.They successfully fulfilled a warranty issue and replaced a Rheem water heater. Very accommodating. I had no issues . Thank you to them.
I contracted with Greenacre plumbing for some plumbing repairs on our house. Jeff contacted me in a timely manner and showed up right on time as he projected. This was a particularly difficult job because of how old the developer had installed the plumbing 12 years ago. But, Jeff knew exactly what to do and took care of it. His work was thorough and professional, and I am very happy with the results.
The work and professionalism I received from GreenAcre Plumbing was a disaster. I contracted them to install a hot water heater and afterwards it has been nothing but issue after issue with the work they performed. In addition to not filing a permit with the county for the work they were going to be performing, they installed a power vent heater when a direct vent heater should have been installed. Furthermore, they failed to install an expansion tank and tempering valve. Shortly after the original install the hot water heater started leaking, so they installed a pressure reducer valve, which would making whistling noises whenever water was turned on. To make matters worse about 8 months later the unit started leaking again. I had another company take a look at the original install when they were addressing the most recent issue and they said the original work was faulty and shouldn't have passed inspection of which there was not one because no permit was filed and that the original installation lacked Including an expansion tank which is mandatory per code when changing the style or size of the a water heater in a closed loop system. I sent pictures of the original install to several other companies and they all confirmed that the work was unprofessional and would not pass inspection. To make matters worse the company refused to own up to their faulty work and proceeded hang the phone up on me when I called and asked them to remedy the situation. I in turn filed a complaint with the department of professional occupation and regulations. I urge you not to do business with this company unless you like shady work and bad customer service.
Jeff F.It's hard to find a plumbing crew like this one. They really know their stuff. But even better, they left the place clean. I couldn't even tell they had been there. Will definitely be using Greenacre again!
