Julian came over within an hour of our furnace breaking. Thoroughly explained what happened, and my options to fix it.

I have to say, a consummate professional, reasonably priced and would recommend.

Although he did not end up doing the work, Julian was wonderful! He answered every phone call, which was not the case with everyone. He was very honest and upfront. He was in or house for no more than 20 minutes and didn't charge us the diagnostic fee that we expected to pay. He said that since he did not know for sure that the work could be done that he would not charge. He is very fair and honest and I think he would have done a great job if he had done the work. The job turned out to be much bigger, involving the removal of walls and ceiling which was beyond his scope of work. I promised him I would send him some money for giving us his time and honesty. I will refer him to everyone I know:)

Julian was AWESOME. On time, very courteous and efficient. He told me exactly what was wrong, fixed it without any parts (although he told me that if this happens again and I need the part, he won't charge for the service call - AMAZING SERVICE). And its all warm and toasty again. I cannot recommend him enough.

An honest and nice repair man that did not try and sell me extra stuff, did not try and charge me for all sorts of stuff, the best service experience that I have had in a long time!!

Julian came to my house on the same day I called him. He assessed my problem and explained my options. As suggested, I tried changing the filter to see what would happen. This took care of 50% of the condensation problem. Christian returned on Monday morning for a more thorough examination, cleaning and fixed my a/c.

I called Julian at about 3pm on a Saturday when our A/C unit started acting up. He gave us some phone advice that fixed the problem, but I wanted to schedule an in-person check-up just in case.

Today he came by for our scheduled appointment, during a storm, and took a look around for any problems, only to find none. We decided to set up another appointment in a month. He left without charging us anything. No upsells, nothing.

Great guy and will call him to check out our furnace before the winter kicks in.

After Four Seasons tried to get me for $4500 to replace and A/C unit (which I declined), I realized it was time for a new HVAC company. I found Green Works on Yelp and gave him a shot because of the positive reviews.

Julian was friendly and professional from the get go. And he was on time. Its next to impossible to find someone to arrive on time but he did. He walked me through his thought process and didn't suggest replacing items I didn't need. My issue had to be resolved through process of elimination and required a few visits. Julian was incredibly fair with his pricing. I almost felt bad that i didn't pay more. $200 later and my A/C is working again.

I always prefer to support a local, independent contractor when possible as long as they provide a quality service. Green Works exceeded my expectations. Please give them a chance if you need HVAC work.

Julian not only did not fix the problem with our air conditioning unit, but charged us $422.95 for about two hours of labor plus a service call, without replacing or testing any mechanical parts of the unit.

He said the air conditioner was freezing up because it needed a cleaning and adjustment of Freon levels, and he drained about 3 inches of water that accumulated in the pan behind the filter. When the unit turned back on, he left without giving us an itemized receipt, which I had to request after the fact.

When the unit broke down again after about two days of operation, we decided we needed a second opinion and called Guardian Heating and Cooling. They tested the evaporator pump and saw that it was broken and the lines were plugged and needed replacement. That was the reason the water had accumulated, but Julian never suggested any of this.

So, bottom line, we are now starting over with Guardian, and they are charging $427 total to replace the pump, drainage lines and all labor. So, we are now paying double due to Julian's inability to properly diagnose and fix the problem with the unit.

This is my first ever web review, and well deserved. My A/C went out Sunday and I came here first thing Monday morning to check out some of my options. I called Green Works and Julian answered right away, said he could be at my place later that day. He was early, really nice, trustworthy and thorough. Gaging the consistency of other reviews, Green Works is a highly reliable company and I would encourage anyone to use them. Thanks Julian!

After I put out an SOS for a new HVAC guy on the interwebs, I came to Yelp and found Green Works. Seconds later a friend texted me and recommended him since he used him a couple weeks prior when his a/c went kaput. Done and done.

Julian went out of his way to get me in sooner vs. later, even though I just needed a cleaning/tune-up, and my appointment landed on what was supposed to be the hottest day of the year. A small part of me was expecting him to call and reschedule because I was sure he'd be busy, but no. He arrived right on time and with a smile.

Since I just needed a routine checkup, my appointment only took about an hour. Julian was so incredibly nice and worked quickly, but thoroughly. Luckily my a/c unit was in good shape, but he did warn me about something that might become an issue in a few years, which I appreciated.

Even though the predicted ""hottest day of the year"" ended up being a sham, for $87.95 I had peace of mind that when the temps do skyrocket I'll be chilling - quite literally.

I'll tell you something for nothing my invisible interweb friends: This is the ONLY hvac person you'll ever need. In your life. On this planet.

I called Julian 3 times in the past few months, twice being on Sundays. Those Sundays, he was at my house within hours. Each visit was for some other problematic issue with my P.O.S. furnace. Julian solved my problem every time and even showed me how to do some intense troubleshooting in case anything happens in the future. He knows this means less calls to his phone, but in turn he has made me a loyal customer. For life. On this planet.
