We've had Green Tech out twice to fix problems, and both times they did outstanding work! The first time, we had noticed a small amount of water by our hot water heater, so we thought it was leaking. Green Tech came out, investigated, and found it was actually a broken toilet seal on the floor above the hot water heater! This saved us the money and stress of having to replace our hot water heater! (A plumber that our home warranty company had sent out earlier that week, on the other hand, told us we needed a new hot water heater and hundreds of dollars in unspecified plumbing work! We are grateful that Green Tech was honest with us about the problem.)
Yesterday, we had Green Tech out to fix a water line problem. They arrived promptly and fixed it quickly, so we would recommend them to others.

Called this morning with an emergency at my Mom's. Bill answered the phone, assured me that someone would be there in a few hours. In less than a few hours, Josh called as he was in front of the house!

We had a couple of issues with the service. The biggest issue was the cost. After service they were rude saying he specifically stated it was $100 minimum for any service, however during the original call it was vague and not specific.

The service was less than 15 minutes (included removing a small part from a garbage disposal with a pliers and filling up the sink to watch the pipes to ensure there was not a leak). The charge was $100 dollars due to what Green Tech said is their minimum charge, so be prepared if you need anything that is their minimum charge.

Other issue is not major, but to note that the technician or Plummer needed our assistance with the issue. Had to hold the flashlight for him and also needed to provide the tools. Maybe the staff did it to make it quicker, but was a bit odd.

I have used Green Tech for many years and they are a reliable, trustworthy, and extremely efficient company. Their plumbers are prompt and courteous. Recently Eric did a great job fixing some issues with two of my toilets.

Update: I received a call to make this right and they did. So I've updated my review because they did the work for the agreed upon amount, were professional, polite and fixed the issue.

So many 5 star reviews, when I had a plumbing issue the handyman couldn't resolve I had to call. So I did and was quoted $400 (at most) parts and labor for a shower drain leak and slow constant drop from the shower head.

Fast forward to the scheduled repair day and the plumber that came was very close to the scheduled time, so that was a plus. Then I showed him hat was needed and he said the other gentlemen that came out for the estimate had already told him the same that I did.

Two hours later repairs are complete and now I'm hit with a bill over $600. When I told him the estimate was $400 at most he just said he didn't know and it would be over $600. I am disappointed he wouldn't have told me the bill would be higher the moment he knew and not hit me at the end with a big increase. Parts were $138, the total was $636. That means labor was almost $250 an hour, that is extremely high, even for plumbers.

Anyway, the repair seems to be done correctly and hopefully if there are any issues they stand by their work.

By far the best plumbers in the business! We were leaving out of town and our basement backed up and they were able to send someone out same day. They never disappoint, are so friendly, knowledgeable and get the job done. Kevin and how crew are the best! We will never go elsewhere, thank you Green Tech!!
