Prior to sharing my journey, I must acknowledge the skilled plumbers—both the current generation and those who have passed on—who mentored me in the craft of plumbing. To be a skilled plumber means valuing the craft of the trade, and this appreciation requires having great teachers. I was blessed with the best.
I grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois, with roots in a family of engineers, plumbers, and pipe specialists. By design or by fate, I initiated my apprenticeship at the age of 15. While I continued my training through courses, I never aspire of starting my own company.
For a while, I relocated to another city and was content working in a “9-to-5 mode,” utilizing my skills, then heading back each evening for dinner and a ballgame! Ultimately, I went back to Park Ridge and established Green Tech Plumbing. I am very pleased about my decision, appreciative for my family’s support, and sincerely appreciative to my wonderful customers.
