Green Rubber Kennedy Ag
Company Overview
Industrial and agricultural solutions for the food processing, industrial, and farming sectors. The year 1990 marked the founding of Green Rubber by John H. Green, Sr. and his son, John P. Green. Initially, they were a small business committed to aiding agricultural and industrial processors. Their expertise lay in custom conveyor belting, which is where the ""rubber"" in Green Rubber comes from. Daily, they competed against major industrial chains across the country. The business flourished, reaching more than thirty employees and diversifying its offerings. Curt and Mark Kennedy launched Kennedy Bros in the same year, 1990. Their initial team of four operated from a Salinas, CA store, providing tanks, pumps, and spray gear. By 2003, they expanded to five locations across California. The two companies served a similar customer base. The merger of the two companies in 2003 resulted in the creation of Green Rubber - Kennedy Ag. They opened their sixth site in Santa Maria, CA, in 2021, and introduced a specialized fabrication division called Urethane Specialists in Salinas.
