Products for agriculture and industry in food processing. In 1990, John H. Green, Sr. established Green Rubber alongside his son, John P. Green. They started as a modest enterprise focused on supporting agricultural and industrial manufacturers. Their expertise lay in custom conveyor belting, which is where the ""rubber"" in Green Rubber comes from. Daily, they competed against major industrial chains across the country. The company expanded rapidly, growing to over thirty employees and a varied product line. Kennedy Bros was established by Curt and Mark Kennedy in 1990. Their initial team of four operated from a Salinas, CA store, providing tanks, pumps, and spray gear. In 2003, their operations expanded to five sites across California. Both businesses catered to many of the same clientele. The merger of the two companies in 2003 resulted in the creation of Green Rubber - Kennedy Ag. They opened their sixth site in Santa Maria, CA, in 2021, and introduced a specialized fabrication division called Urethane Specialists in Salinas.
