Founded in 1955, Green Line is one of the oldest liquid waste and sewage companies on the Central Coast. Our origins trace back to Lee Fletcher, who launched the first Roto-Rooter in Monterey County. In the 1970s, Priscilla and John Grider, the second generation, took over the business from Lee. The Griders purchased Tom's Septic Tank Service and soon after established Green Line Liquid Waste Haulers. In 2006, Kim and David Phillips (the third generation) transformed Green Line into a comprehensive liquid waste company with services that encompass sewage pumping, grease hauling, hydro-jetting, and video inspections of waste lines. Today, we are part of the Don Chapin Family of Companies and operate as Green Line, a Liquid Waste Company. Together with our sister company Tom's, Green Line is the most established and comprehensive liquid waste service provider on the Central Coast, with a legacy spanning over sixty-five years.
