Not sure what I can add that hasn't already been covered in all of the amazing reviews. We have a recurring back up problem that typically rears it's ugly head at all the wrong times. This time many plumbers were not working the weekend but Chuck got back to me in 10 minutes and was at my front door within the hour. He cleared the clog, was courteous, honest, funny and trustworthy - and all at a very reasonable price. It was a pleasure and Chuck (Green Lake Sewer) is now at the top of my speed dial. How refreshing to work with a home services professional who 1) calls back promptly and communicates clearly 2) comes the same day, and quickly at that and 3) attempts to resolve the problem most efficiently and give you a referral if out of their scope.

Chuck is knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Even though our issue was more appropriate for a plumber (as opposed to sewer), he stuck around for 30 mins to check everything out, help put our sink back together and give us tips and resources - all fee of charge!

Life SAVERS!!

Our sewer line clogged and started backing up. The first plumber who came out said they could only unclog the sewer line by digging up my neighbors driveway and part of the road which would have been extremely expensive.

Brian came out the same day I called them and were able to resolve the issue without digging up my neighbors driveway or any part of the street. They used hydra-jet and were able to clear my line within 2 hours at a fraction of the price the previous plumber quoted.

Yeah, when your sewer starts backing up and you're thinking, ""Great. How much is THIS going to cost?"" you head to Yelp, read the reviews and hope that you've rolled the dice and picked the right guy.
And this time, I won.
Chuck was a tad late, but only because he was helping the previous customer who had a tricky situation on her hands, but once there, you could tell this is a stand-up guy.
He came in, did his thing and was in and out in 40 minutes, getting our drain back to full-flowing. I had called a competitor that was recommended to me, and they said they couldn't come out until tomorrow. Their hourly rates? Exactly the same.
He also passed along some tips about the right toilet paper to use, as most of the ones you probably don't break down and do nothing but help him get more business.
A straight-talking Brooklyn native that hasn't lost the accent, has a hard-work ethic and pride in what he does because it helps people.
One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time.

I had a plumbing emergency involving an overflowing toilet (the horror!) and found Green Lake Sewer & Drain on Yelp. I was pretty impressed with all the good reviews and the 10 minute average response time. It was on a Sunday night and the owner Charles still responded very quickly and was able to come out early morning next day! He was on time, very professional, knowledgeable and even provided tips on how to avoid similar issues in the future. I would highly recommend him!

When the kitchen drain in my condo clogged one evening, I couldn't get relief using home remedies. Seeing many favorable Yelp reviews of Green Lake Sewer & Drain by folks in similar situations, I left a phone message early the next day. Chuck returned the call in about half an hour and was able to set an appointment later that morning. He arrived within his stated one-hour time window, worked quickly to snake out the drain, cleaned up the area, and was done in 40 minutes. He even had the foresight to check the apartment one floor below in case my repair might create a problem lower down in the common building drain pipe.

As he initially told me, his charge was for a minimum one hour, at a rate that seemed reasonable for the market. I tend to prefer a sole proprietorship like Chuck's to a larger, less personal company, and could not have asked for a more competent, efficient, and personable service individual. Would recommend GLS&D to anyone in the area with a drain or sewer issue.

I called for service back in November. Chuck called me back the same day, and was able to take a look at the problem. He fixed it quickly and efficiently, and even gave helpful tips while he was working. Pricing was reasonable too. Would use them again if I ever had any other problems or needed work done!

Very responsive and nice people to work with. The shower in my condo apartment had backup water on Friday, and I sent out a work request to 5 or 6 businesses on Yelp. Chuck was the fastest to response, getting straight to the point, and giving me the rate and a time slot for next morning. He was by far the most efficient of all the businesses who replied, and yes, he works on weekends, which I truly appreciate so I didn't have to stressfully wait for extra days nor take time off from my work. The pair of Chuck and Raymond arrived pronto on Saturday morning, both courteous and upbeat, quickly diagnosed and fixed the drain, cleaned up and left with smiles, all in about 30 minutes. If you value the time and efficiency, you'll love their work ethics. Plus, they are very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. I'm so glad I found Green Lake Sewer & Drain, and will definitely ask them for help next time when I have a drainage problem.
