They were available within 24 hours after calling for two new sinks and faucet install. The next morning a plumber showed up in the morning and by noon our new sinks, new pipes and faucets were installed. It would have been even quicker if it weren't so that our existing pipes were of some non-standard size requiring some extra work to connect. Also during the work he had footsies on and used other measures to protect the floor etc. When he left all was clean and ready for usage. As a bonus he also took all the trash including old sinks. Would use again!

Green House Plumbing was very quick! They were able to come check out and service our furnace within one day of my phone call to set up the appointment. We really appreciated the fast turn around time.

They also told us that the furnace was working well and the top of line furnace. They didn't try to up sell us on getting a new one. They just told us about some good filters to get next time we go to home depot.

Our water heater quit evidently on Tuesday night. My wife took a cold shower Wednesday morning and sent me a text from work complaing of the inconvenience. She works front line at a hospital and showers frequently,. I am high risk and we also have a young daughter at home. Cold showers is not an option.

I could not relight the pilot flame. This has become more difficult over the last several years. I am a fixit kinda of guy and thought I could buy parts to fix it, but then again it is 14 years old. So maybe the energy savings minus the parts and labor it was worth replacing?

I called Greenhouse Wednesday afternoon and they were here on Thursday morning. I thought the quote was high ( I spent Wednesday checking the prices at box stores). However, they had a water heater on the truck. So, I gave the go ahead. So happy I did this. Sometimes it is nice to set back and have others do the work. Could I have had it done cheaper? Maybe. But let me give some reasons for my decision:
1. The A.O. Smith water heaters provided to certified contractors are of a much better quality than sold to box stores such as Lowes. They are commercial grade and only available through approved contactors.
2. Greenhouse brought the installation up to code and installed new supply lines, catchment tray, and anti-hammer expansion tank on the cold water supply. Their installation matched the recommended by A.O. Smith installation guide.
3. They supplied two plumbers who both wore masks and wore foot coverings. They laid down a drop cloth and were meticulous with cleaning.
4. I have a confined space and I thought I would need to remove at least the washing machine prior to get the water heater out. Not so, they simply drained the old and lifted it over the washer to take away the old and bring in the new.

We often here of pricing in reviews. And yes, maybe I or someone else could have done it marginally cheaper. But not better. So far so good. I am a tightwad DYI guy and I am happy with the quality of the Proline water heater, installation, communication, safety, and service of David and Greenhouse.

Plumbing:
We had bought this house a couple of years ago. It was a flip, and we knew some things needed immediate attention. We had Green House come out to fix some of these immediate issues and the plumbing work they did for us was fine. If I could rate that separately from their heating services, I'd say I was satisfied with the work they specifically had done while we were the homeowners. One thing I did note though was that they clearly had helped with the flip job on this house (before we bought it) as their sticker was on a garbage disposal. This garbage disposal happened to be flagged in the inspection report as having a cable that was not being fully protected by a flex conduit and was not clamped properly, creating a potential hazard. As we realized there were things that they clearly worked on that didn't pass inspection, out of caution we shopped around for a different plumber for our later projects.

Heating:
I had my furnace installed by Green House at this time as well, as they did maintenance on the very old furnace that was in there and determined it to be a carbon monoxide hazard. The price they gave was great so I will give them credit for that part. However, fast forward almost 2 years later when I had another company service it. Turns out they never plugged in the air filtration system (hasn't been on for nearly two years and I didn't realize it). They didn't use a flexible gas line (so if there is an earthquake that's bad news). And there wasn't a big enough opening for the intake air (this furnace was working quite hard as a result and if it stays this way it's lifespan will be affected). I now have to spend a good chunk of money to fix their installation job. I would not recommend them for the heating.

Otherwise was a nice person to deal with, but unfortunately not someone I think I can trust with my home projects.

I only gave two stars because the service tech was friendly and patient during his visit. However, he did not follow up or through with his word after he left my house. I had to call back 4 times within the next two days before finding out that 'Green House Plumbing' wasn't able to obtain the part(s) needed to fix my plumbing issue. There was no internal communication from the tech to the office. They had to call the tech on his day off to see what the status was with my service call. A piss poor process produces piss poor production. Communication is key. ...now I take my business elsewhere.
