Stephen from Greeks Plumbing came to help me when I really needed it! Our hot water was out and I didn't know the reason. He came fast, diagnosed the problem suggested two options for new gas heaters, we went with the cheaper version and installed it next day. He worked fast, delivered and I am happy with result. He was also very prompt. I would def use Stephen again in the future! Thank you!

Twice now, Steve has come to the rescue when I needed urgent assistance. He's a great guy who is very responsive, quick and efficient. Having purchased an older home, we're discovering all the hidden surprises in the form of old pipes and valves, some of which disintegrated on touch. Steve was able to repair or replace everything that has broken on short notice.

How this company has such great ratings on Google is beyond me. He must be writing them in himself. He overcharged us for the smallest leak. $100 for the Initial call (which should have gone back into the rest of the bill since he actually did work and didn't just come out to look at something), $200 to LOOK for the leak, $300 to FIX the leak, and then another $200 to move our toilet and put it back on which took all of 5 minutes and did nothing but we got charged for it. In total we paid over $700 for 2 hours of work. I asked for a breakdown of hours worked and materials used and he said he goes off of a ""book"" for pricing (which isn't a thing) and that he charges a base rate of $225 an hour!! Nowhere on line does it say this and I find it really convenient that he doesn't disclose this information before hand. He also didn't give me a price or an estimate before he did the job. When the job was done, instead of giving me a bill right then and there, he told me he had to go home because he was so tired, but would send me an invoice. Now I see why he did that. He wanted to send this outrageous invoice and not be able to look me in the eye and talk to me about it in person. When he did end up sending it, he keep telling me that I had to pay it NOW. We will never be using him again. On another note, he has two different yelp pages. One on each side of the island. One of them has decent reviews (this page) and the other one has terrible reviews. I think he has been messing with his Yelp account so that only the account with good reviews shows up. The one with bad reviews has more recent ratings, which All state the same thing - he overcharges, and is not very professional.
