Worst company ever. First came out to bid adding a return vent and gave me a price. Called back a week later to see when it was scheduled the guy said that he would have the original guy give me a call. Waited another five days and no call. Called back and they guy was like o he never called. Said he would have him call me again. Couple days later received a quote via email for 3x the amount! Emailed them back and asked about the original quote that was given nothing. Didn't expect anything really because they have no communication skills watsoever. Great Guys? Yea right more like two guys trying to con and pick and choose the jobs they want. No customer service, no sense of urgency, just a shady company.

I can't express how professional this company is!!!

Even during this time of Covid, they we so professional! James called 15 mins before arriving (as per my request), came out of van, greeted me and put on his mask and gloves right away (very appreciative of this).

As we walked to the AC unit, James reemphasized what my details were that I inputted into the service ticket. As we got there James started right away and since I run a Nest system, I needed to be there with him. During that time James was very professional and chatted with me the whole time, thus acknowledging I was there.

The diagnostic was quick and BAM, AC starting to work right after he worked his magic. Also informed me that there was something not in right and it turns out liquid side line was reduced. He did an excellent job of explaining things and what will need to be done and pricing.

Truly appreciate him being up front and taking care of the issue.

HIGHLY recommend them if you need anything heating/AC related! Will definitely be using and recommending them!

Great Guys was a referral from a contractor friend of mine. We needed some HVAC work done on our basement finish. Maddie, the owner's daughter gave us a great bid and thoroughly explained all the work that they would be doing. When her and her brother showed up to perform the work, I was even more impressed. It's truly a family business! They were on time, worked hard and cleaned up afterward. Due to a miscalculation with the vent for the bathroom fan, they ended up adding an additional 25 foot run to satisfy code requirements. When I asked if I owed her any more for the additional work and material, she said absolutely not because it was her error. Wow! What a ""Great"" company and so ethical! I will definitely use them again for all my HVAC needs and will gladly refer them to anyone I know. Thank you!

Great Guys are awesome. Marcus and Maddy were responsive in emails, timely and informative. They listened to my concerns and also provided great advice on exactly the system I needed for my house and did not try to oversell.

When my inside thermostat was not able to handle the correct wiring needed they gave me a free new thermostat upgrade.

They were professional and friendly and made installation a breeze. Quote and payment was accurate and handled efficiently.

My AC decided to stop working during a 95+ degree day. It was late night by the time we made it back home. I had done some research online as well as looking for referrals from friends and neighbors. Lots of companies came up as expected. But after reading the reviews for Great Guys, I decided to call them. (I also called a few others)

I spoke to Great Guys first thing in the morning. Finally also heard from only a couple of the other companies. Much later. Don't remember who I spoke to at Great Guys but he was friendly and said he could probably get someone out later in the day. Luckily within the hour Marcus called me. Said he was in my part of town and could stop by in 10-20 minutes.

He diagnosed the problem (fused closed electromagnetic contactor) and said he could get that fixed quickly. He investigated some more down in basement and at outside unit. Gave me a quote. I don't think it was necessarily inexpensive but also not outrageous.

Marcus was extremely patient with me and all my questions. He was great! Replaced unit, changed out my filters and walked me through the job. Even gave me some best practices for the future. Grade A+

Marcus even answered more of my questions after he left via text... Amazing service. Would absolutely use them again and refer to anyone.

Marcus and his team are amazing! Another company told me that I should replace my relatively new central AC for several thousand instead of trying to repair, for which they also quoted close to $2000. I decided to reach out to Great Guys for a second opinion and Marcus informed me that the unit is not very old and can be repaired for a few hundred. They scheduled an appointment and took care of it shortly after and are very quick and efficient. Overall an excellent experience and I definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs!

SUMMARY: Great Guys was so professional, friendly, honest, and affordable. Hire them, you won't regret it.
DETAILS: I needed someone to re-seat my AC unit on pavers, and make it level (at the time it was awkwardly perched atop a pile of river rock, and I didn't want to risk moving it myself and breaking something). I called multiple companies, some just didn't want to do it. Another company quoted me $750! Great Guys gave me two quotes, one for if we had to disconnect the AC unit, and one for if we didn't. Both quotes were reasonable. The employees that came to do the job were very friendly and meticulous, making sure everything was level and done right. They answered all my questions about general HVAC maintenance. At the end of the day, I was charged less than the quote, as the job wound up being less complicated than they anticipated. I paid just over $100 for work another company wanted to charge me $750 for! Call Great Guys. The name fits.
