I initially contacted them to get a quote to replace a 1500 gallon grease interceptor. An appointment was made and Jeffrey and his assistant came out to assess the job approximately a week later.
He told me he would work on the quote; obtain material and permit prices, contact the Contra Costa County Sanitary District for requirements and e-mail me a bid. I attempted to follow up with him approximately two weeks later by phone and no response. I e-mailed him and still no response. I called again the following week, leaving yet another voice mail and no response again. I made one final attempt by e-mail to contact him and never received a response.
I think maybe this guy bit off more than he could chew with saying he could replace the grease interceptor but once he saw the job, couldn't admit it was over his head. Just by the fact he could not man up and admit the job was too much for him to handle, rather ignore my calls and e-mail, I would not recommend him for any plumbing job going forward. The thing is, had he been responsive initially, whether he could do the grease interceptor job or not, he could have had all our plumbing business for an assisted living facility.

They came out for a leaking toilet replaced a wax and level the toilet bow, i was charged for $832.00 , i had to get it fixed immediately and couldn't get another plumber. Afterwards check with 2 other plumber show the invoice they said that I got ripped off by Jeffrey Gray company. Be aware and try to get at least 2 estimates and don't use Jeffrey Gray plumbing.

Was having trouble getting a part off to complete our sink installation n Kevin easily removed it and explained how we could some avoid some other problems down the line too for completing the installation without just saying they needed to be done and charging us. They came out for a scheduled appointment on a leaky faucet. We were charged app. $900. We felt they price gouged us because we had to get it fixed immediately and couldn't call another plumber. Their previous visit for a leak in the front of the house was only $150.

We had them come out because our pilot light kept turning off and my husband looked online and thought it might be the thermo coupler. He wasn't comfortable changing it so had Jeffrey Gray Plumbing come out and take a look and my husband told him what he thought it was. He took out a volt meter and said oh no that's not it, told us he could change out our water heater for just over $2,000. My husband said no thank you, went to Lowe's and got a $12 thermo coupler, changed it and it's now been a month and our water heater is still operating perfectly!!! This company is a straight up RIP OFF!!

I needed to replace my 24 year old water heater which was leaking very badly. I lucked upon Jeffrey on the internet and was very pleased with the results. He did not try to sell me services or goods I didn't need. It was shocking what Jeffrey Gray wanted to charge for work at my son's house which I manage when he is deployed. Mr. Gray wanted $2,700 to replace a supply hose on one toilet, and to also put a new supply hose on each of the other two toilets to prevent future leaks. I just paid a local plumber $75 to do the same thing to one toilet upstairs. It's really shocking what Mr Gray tried to do to a woman whom I guess he thought wouldn't know any better. I really don't know. I paid him $300 for his ELABORATE estimate with a bunch of pictures which I can never use (could have potentially been useful for insurance but only to the degree of the value of a REPAIR) but I really wanted to find a plumber that I could hire to fix things for future years there in Suisun City. I love to write positive 5 star reviews. I have never, ever given anyone a 1 star before on any web site.

Jeffrey Gray plumbing was called the morning after a major stoppage incident in my new home. They were able to arrive within 3 hours of the call, and had a quick diagnosis of the issue.

Jeffrey and his son dug out the old clean-out near my house and installed a new two way clean-out in the same location. From here, he snaked the line, ran a camera, and ensure the issue was completely resolved.

Jeffrey was a punctual, happy guy, who seems to enjoy what he does and explained everything that was happening as I barraged him with questions.

Highly recommend Jeffrey Gray Plumbing to anyone that is looking for a job well done. Honest, on time, great job, no padded extras in the bill. He answered the phone early on the day after thanksgiving, and was at my house by 9am as he stated he would be. Amazing to find such good work ethics, and honesty in one package. I was in fear I would not be able to use my kitchen sink for the next week, until someone came out. NOT the case!! Jeffrey was there, did a great job, and has my business and recommendations from now on. Its nice to know that we as a public can still count on good customer service, especially around the busy holidays. Thumbs up!!
