This was a first-time call to Gray's after doing a little web searching for a local plumber. The call was quick and professional and they were able to come out the same day with a scheduled arrival time between 12 and 2 pm. Due to an error on my part, I was not home and received a call at 12:02 that they were at the house, ready to go. I know better than to expect that every time, given the unknowns of any earlier work they may be on, but needless to say it made one heck of a first impression. Michael and ""Manny"" were thorough, professional, and worked through the challenges of dealing with 40+-year-old kitchen faucet piping, corroded shut-off valves, seized fittings, etc, in 2 adjacent houses. After an inspection, the reasonable price was quoted upfront and that was what it was when it was all said and done. We are back up and running, with 2 new faucets, cleanly installed water lines, and no trace of all the cutting, bending, and other efforts they had to put into making it happen. 100% chance they will be our first call for any work we need moving forward. Thank you Michael, Manny, and Gray Plumbing.

These guys were super professional...covered their shoes, wore their masks without me asking, and were careful with everything, including not letting my cat out. They arrived as promised, unpacked the toilet, finished the whole job and then carried away my old toilet and the packing of the new one. I imagine you could pay a few hundred dollars less somewhere else, but I doubt you could get better service, or more professionalism anywhere. And they came the same day I called!

Jeffrey and Kivon arrived after Public Works turned off the main water line to our home. They inspected the front yard where the water was flowing uncontrollably and advised us what steps will be taken to resolve the issue. They went above and beyond to investigate the copper water pipeline and could not locate the break. During this time they made sure we had running water right away. Kevin (arrived later) and Kivon replaced the waterline with a new copper line and added additional shut off valves (city requirement). This morning the work was inspected by the city inspector and all is good.

Who knows how long the copper pipeline was broken. We noticed the water pressure in our downstairs bathroom improved. We are happy homeowners and would highly recommend Jeffrey Gray Plumbing to others in need of plumbing repair.

We called Jeffrey Gray Plumbing to come out and fix a wax seal and supply line leak in our toilet base. When he arrived he quoted $524 to do the job. We said that seemed high, and he said it was a ""flat fee"". This was for our rental property. When I went home I checked my bills for the exact same thing done by Ken Mays Plumbing, and the bill was $200. After he finished he said that he would give us a ""senior citizen"" discount and reduced the bill by 10%. Watch out for this company. Seems there are many reviews on this same issue.

I initially contacted them to get a quote to replace a 1500 gallon grease interceptor. An appointment was made and Jeffrey and his assistant came out to assess the job approximately a week later.
He told me he would work on the quote; obtain material and permit prices, contact the Contra Costa County Sanitary District for requirements and e-mail me a bid. I attempted to follow up with him approximately two weeks later by phone and no response. I e-mailed him and still no response. I called again the following week, leaving yet another voice mail and no response again. I made one final attempt by e-mail to contact him and never received a response.
I think maybe this guy bit off more than he could chew with saying he could replace the grease interceptor but once he saw the job, couldn't admit it was over his head. Just by the fact he could not man up and admit the job was too much for him to handle, rather ignore my calls and e-mail, I would not recommend him for any plumbing job going forward. The thing is, had he been responsive initially, whether he could do the grease interceptor job or not, he could have had all our plumbing business for an assisted living facility.

They came out for a leaking toilet replaced a wax and level the toilet bow, i was charged for $832.00 , i had to get it fixed immediately and couldn't get another plumber. Afterwards check with 2 other plumber show the invoice they said that I got ripped off by Jeffrey Gray company. Be aware and try to get at least 2 estimates and don't use Jeffrey Gray plumbing.

Was having trouble getting a part off to complete our sink installation n Kevin easily removed it and explained how we could some avoid some other problems down the line too for completing the installation without just saying they needed to be done and charging us. I appreciate an honest company who won't just try to take your money! Thank you so much Jeffrey Gray plumbing!

They came out for a scheduled appointment on a leaky faucet. We were charged app. $900. We felt they price gouged us because we had to get it fixed immediately and couldn't call another plumber. Their previous visit for a leak in the front of the house was only $150.

We had them come out because our pilot light kept turning off and my husband looked online and thought it might be the thermo coupler. He wasn't comfortable changing it so had Jeffrey Gray Plumbing come out and take a look and my husband told him what he thought it was. He took out a volt meter and said oh no that's not it, told us he could change out our water heater for just over $2,000. My husband said no thank you, went to Lowe's and got a $12 thermo coupler, changed it and it's now been a month and our water heater is still operating perfectly!!! This company is a straight up RIP OFF!!
