Larry E.Sorry to leave a single star, but that's how I feel after the crappy service and response to our plumbing needs were handled by this joint. We had a stopped up toilet and they came out to clear the line. On their first trip they broke their auger in the line and had to leave the job because they didn't have another snake to use. Came back the next day and augered some more, only to tell me there must be roots in the line. Keep in mind there's still a bunch of crap in the toilet bowl being sprayed around and after several attempts to clear it they failed miserably. I was told that ""Bill"" (the owner) would now have to come out and estimate what it would cost to jackhammer through the cement slab to get to the pipes. The tech said the line connecting to the main line must be cracked and roots are getting in. I suggested removing the toilet and running a cutting head through the pipe to at least buy me some time and clean things up, but he said they don't do that sort of thing. LOL... The tech (Bill's son) then went out to his van to make some phone calls and get his Dad out for a look. I was then told Bill would be right out to handle the task. Two weeks later. Yes, TWO WEEKS LATER and Bill has never come back nor did we receive any phone calls about when they we coming. Very unprofessional. My wife called a couple times herself to learn ""Bill is very busy on big jobs and doesn't know when he can come back""! Are you kidding me??? I have a toilet full of stinky crap and they won't come back to finish the job they started? Seriously!!! Just let that sink in for a moment before you call this place for any of your plumbing needs. Stay away!
I woke to the sound of water gushing out of my water heater. It was scary because I live alone with no family. But Bill came out, assessed the situation and hurried off to order parts and a new water heater. I'm INCREDIBLY satisfied with the warm friendliness and professional care. I SO appreciate the senior discount - it means more than you could possibly know! Thank you Bill & Linda! Many blessings to you!
Bill is the MAN! Shot an email explaining my leaking shower faucet with pictures to make sure they had the right part. Linda contacted me the next day and informed me someone could come to my home later that morning. I asked for late as possible and she made it happen. Bill showed up with part in hand late that afternoon as promised. Could I have done the job myself? sure. But I would have spent oodles of time hunting down the part to a 15 year old faucet. I may not have had all the tools and it would have taken me 4 times as long. Well worth the reasonable cost and I had a blast reminiscing about the good old days with Bill. He even helped me out with some great advice on tankless units and didn't try to pressure me into any purchase.
What a cool cat! Can't thank GP plumbing enough for their awesome service and a professional job!
Very pleased with the work performed on my whirlpool tub and other issues in our new (old) house. Bill and Linda went out of their way to assist us with replacement parts and learn exactly how the tub worked.. I was working with a Home Warranty Service, so Linda fought hard for the coverage and in the end Bill got the tub up and running. I can't say enough about their kindness and perserverance. I am so appreciative it was Grants Pass Plumbing who helped us through this.
Roger W.I just wrote a check for $669 for a water heater install. Not the water heater, just the install. I contacted another company first but they were too busy. Their basic install was $250 but were unable to do the install in the time frame I required. I expected there would be additional cost for some new fittings but $400 more no way. If you are thinking of using this company do not have them start work till you have a clear indication of the cost. Grants Pass Plumbing charged me a $135 in labor to go get a fitting they forgot to bring with them and another $204 in parts. Just say no.
Bill was very knowledgeable and extremely fast. All-in-all he did a great job. We are very pleased with the work they did for us and I would not hesitate to recommend GP Plumbing to anyone. Thanks for a great job.
Mo S.I've had this companybout twice to fix two different things. AMAZING!!! They are fast, very reasonably priced and GREAT at what they do. My Mom got ripped off ny another company and I'm so glad I called Grants Pass Plumbing for her. Office lady has very good customer service skills and the service guys that come out are EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend Grants Pass Plumbing...
Dean S.Had an emergency situation during July 4, 2016 weekend, Grants Pass Plumbing never dealt with me before, and out of 6 companies I called they were the ONLY people to come out, do the job right and fix the heating element in our hot water heater.
Pricing for last minute same day work, including parts/labor was amazing. I work with various contractors nationwide with our rental properties, and do NOT give out YELP ratings to those who do not do the job.
If you need plumbing repair, installation, etc. Grants Pass Plumbing is a great local family business and I highly recommend.
We had a leak in the main water supply to our house. We called Grants Pass Plumbing for the repairs. We were concerned because the new pipe was going to run along the walkway to our front door and we didn't want our front lawn to look like a construction site when they were finished. They carefully dug a deep trench by hand, keeping the dirt off the lawn and placing the sod next to the location where it was removed. They tunneled under two sidewalks and installed the new pipe promptly and professionally. When they were finished all the dirt was gone, and the sod was replaced so carefully it didn't even look like a trench was there!
I made a big mistake hiring Grants Pass Plumbing. Jordan came out on Friday to investigate a leak in my laundry room. He said the leak was coming from under the house he crawled in the crawl space under the house and took a photo of what he claimed was the leaking pipe that needed to be replaced. He said they need to custom cut a pipe and need to come back Monday. He came back today cut 2 holes in my garage wall and said he didn't have access to the pipe. Continued to rack up a bill by crawling in crawl space again, going into laundry room to investigate. Then pulled out the washing machine and said ""Oh"" there is another drainage pipe the hose was supposed to go into. I asked him shouldn't you have noticed this day 1 you are the plumber. He laughed and said I should have noticed this. I was sitting at my computer when he arrived day 1 and day 2 of the job, I made a note to his arrival times. He lied and said he came 30 minutes earlier on both days to rack up a big bill. The right thing to do is charge me for the first day of service and not the second day service. Being a professional he should know the different types of pipes and drainage pipes associated with plumbing. Then be extremely rude to me when I ask him shouldn't you have noticed this the first day. Then laugh at me this is supposed to be a professional in his chosen field. No I shouldn't have noticed myself I'm not an expert this is why I called a plumber. Please steer clear of this unprofessional business.
