It's exactly the hardware store your hoping for in a small town. It's nice to see the same smiling, friendly, helpful folks every time you go in. It's rare they don't have what I need, which saves me a trip down the hill.

As a long time customer I am very disappointed by the lack of mask wearing by the staff during this difficult time. I doubt that any of the staff know for sure that they are not infected so they are potentially creating a virus infected environment for anyone entering the store. Wearing a mask is such a small thing to do to ensure you are not spreading the virus to others that it seems so inconsiderate to not do it. Home Depot is doing a much better job and as a result more of my business is going there.

Went in looking for very very specific items and the 2 gentleman working did not stop until it was found even when there was only one of what I was looking for left...

People are very knowledgeable and willing to help unlike the big box stores... Grant's Hardware is very well stocked local resource and their prices are highly competitive! Check them out before you head down the hill!

It's the only hardware store in town. It's cute with tons of stuff from decor to plumbing, etc. The staff is very friendly; they've personally helped me each time I've gone. They have variety, but not always name brand. Pricing is higher than you'd find at home depot on some products, but here's why it doesn't bother me too much:

A) is a 30 to 40 min drive to the nearest home depot. One way. What's your time worth to you? A few extra bucks to just drive down the street instead? Sounds good to me.

B) I believe in supporting mom n' pop shops. This is a sweet store. You're not paying the conglomerate corporations yet another dollar....

Cute store. Lots of fun things to look at, like their bird/hummingbird feeders, home decor, camping aisle, etc.
