Thank you for responding but it took a review on yelp to get anybody's attention. Not very helpful. By the way after seeing the estimate that was sent to me via email I had another electrician come out check out the job and only charge me $75 to do with the repair. Did not need to run a new wire. Just had to replace one of the electrical boxes.

Greg and his team saved my wife's business. She called with a chiller problem for her equine spa and they came out that day. Not only did they take the time to understand the system and how it functions, but they went above and beyond with what they quoted her they would do. Thank you for all you did and she looks forward to you helping improve her equine system even further.

Just had a service call from A-1 Service Hero's, I have a maintenance contract with them and the did an annual maintenance check on my HVAC unit. I also had them change 2 cartridges in my bathroom faucet which took 10 minutes the charge was $98.00 and I had the parts so basically they charged me for time only and when you translate that cost into an hourly rate it means they charge almost $600.00 per hour.
I can imagine what outrageous quotes the give innocent victims for services.
They want to sell you everything under the sun that you probably don't need.
I hope this helps prevent the next victim from being scammed

Dishonest and rude. This company was a nightmare to work with. They never sent the owner of the property an invoice but when questioned about the work the answer it was all on the invoice. They showed up for maintenance. The maintenance did not work so they were called to come back out. They indicated more tests were necessary. Then after all the tests they determined a significant part needed to be replaced. At that point $1170 had already been spent. When the owner spoke with Kayla she stated the $1170 would be credited against the new part. She said we do that because maintenance is always less than replacement. However, Vince did not provide the promised credit. The owner was charged another $4600. He exact words ""we don't work for free."" He promised to fix the a/c on Sunday. He did not show up until Monday. Vince was condescending and rude. The tenants complained as well. Do not use this company.

I was overcharged for a simple shower repair to replace a mixer that was sticking. I was verbally told the cost would be $381 for the repair and that was approved. The invoice was emailed to me after the technician left and it showed $99 for the service call and $282 for the Moen replacement cartridge. I had paid $71 to another plumber for the part three years ago plus $138 for labor but he has retired. I called the A-1 office to complain and was offered two ""free"" AC tune ups that I do not want or need, and they have refused to refund the overcharge. I will not use this company again.

This company is fantastic. All around we had a great experience with each employee. Our a/c unit died a few days ago and they got someone out to look at it the same day. Very professional, he said there were a few things we could try and if it doesn't work we won't be charged for parts. We decided to buy a new unit because ours was so old and inefficient. They gave us a great price, but going into this we didn't know much about a/c units and the going cost. We shopped around and ended up coming back here because they gave us the best price with the most benefits. Their sales manager wasn't pushy and tried to save us as much as he could. Everyone that we interacted with were kind, knowledgeable and professional. They got us in quick and rearranged the schedule so we could get the new unit up and running during this heat wave. I highly recommend this company. We will definitely use them again in the future.

A bit of a bait & switch- was attracted by the yelp reviews & $75 for $125 deal. Explained what I needed before visit & was assured I would get a technician who could do it all in one day.
AC tune up for $59 ended up w/$229 part, which wasn't broken but ""going.""
I bought a basic one hole kitchen faucet- they wanted $200+ to install & same amt for bathroom faucet leak. Could buy the whole set for that!
Then for gas pipe issue which was a pre-planned, repair, they had to send an estimate & reschedule.
No way- going to call my handyman
