An excellent experience from start to finish.

We were hunting down HVAC replacement and checked out Yelp. Our initial contacts (with Brandon) were friendly, professional and courteous. He offered us many options and explained any questions we had. We finally settled on a system and a price. The cost was VERY competitive.

The installation was flawless. They showed up right on time. The team was let by Robert who was friendly, courteous and helpful. He was assisted by Gabriel, also very professional. Finally, Derrick was also present to do the plumbing work. (A water heater, in addition to the new HVAC system.) The work was done quickly, professionally and (we believe) reliably. They even helped me out with the NEST thermostat.

The entire time, the whole staff was respectful of our property, helpful with suggestions, and did the work in a respectful fashion, with no excess noise or problems.

We would highly recommend this company! At the very least give them a call with questions. Sonya in the office is very helpful and friendly.

Caution -- Get a second quote from another expert when you get the pitch for add-ons...parts or services you ""need."" A good company will support their customers' need to get the best price and a good company does not exploit the opportunity to be in your home.

A#1 saved our weekend! Brandon, the tech, arrived within 1 hour of calling and fixed the problem with the AC quickly and for a reasonable fee. He saved us from sweltering in 100 degree heat. We were very pleased with A#1 and highly recommend them

My mom's air conditioning in her new Palm Desert home wasn't working and thankfully she had a home warranty. The initial company the warranty service people were sending out, didn't respond to our calls and they weren't open on Sunday and since it's 122 degrees out we couldn't wait. I searched on Yelp for a reliable A/C company in the desert that was a part of the Fidelity Warranty vendor list and based on the reviews I was eager to give A#1 a call in hopes they did warranty work and could come out asap. BINGO! They are very familiar with Fidelity and could come out the same day. Joey came out and was able to diagnose the issue and repair quickly. A few days later I saw water dripping from one of the AC units so we called them and our warranty service to have them come back out for we feared there was a leak and the work wasn't done properly. We called again on a Sunday and they were out the next day. Mind you this is a Holiday weekend. Sal came out this morning and everything checked out perfectly the issue wasn't an ""issue"" it was just normal condensation that we were clueless about. No charge and no shenanigans.

Because of their quick service and honesty I would 100% recommend A#1in fact we signed up for a yearly AC/HVAC maintenance program which was at a VERY reasonable price.

Best heating/AC service in the Coachella Valley, by far. It was 114 degrees today in my town (La Quinta). Of course, my AC chose today of all days, to quit working. It quit at 3pm. Needless to say, by 4pm it was over 80 in my house. I have a wife and 2 children that rely on the AC this time of year. I called my a few of the AC vendors that are used by my property management company, so that they could pick up the bill. They all gave me the same story: ""we'll try to get out there in the next 48 hours"". Not gonna cut it, we need to live in this house those 48 hours, and I have a 1 year old and 3 year old. So I called A#1. Dominick showed up in less than 20 minutes. He immediately recognized the motor in the outside unit had gone bad. He offered me a very nice discount, on top of offering up some very helpful advice that he has learned in the time he's been working with the rental companies. At that time, the rental company called me back and said a vendor could be at my house within an hour. I felt bad about it, but I explained to Dominick that if there's a chance they can come now, and it will mean I won't have to cough up $500+ for a motor... then I need to take it. He was very cool; and mentioned that if I needed anything else, I could have his cell #. 2 hours later, the other vendor called. It turns out they don't have any of the parts necessary to repair my AC unit. Again... not gonna work. So, by now it's 9pm and I'm sure Dominick is at home chillin with a beer after a long day. I called him up, and not only did he show back up before 9:30, but he actually found a way to repair my unit for a price that was less than half of what I had already committed to paying him. How often does that happen? Close to Never. My first yelp review, the first time I think I've encountered someone who actually takes their job seriously enough to REALLY deserve one. Thank you Dominick, thank you A#1. You've gained a loyal customer for life.

Arrived at my vacation house on a Friday night, 115° outside and I walked inside to find my house 105 degrees inside. Obviously the AC stopped working. I called Amen air-conditioning repair. Within 24 hours my air conditioning was working like new. They gave excellent service and a fair price I will be calling them again for any future problems.

WOW you sure get what you pay for from A1 if I could give 10 stars I would. Not only did we have a new unit installed in the house we had 1 put in the garage. The customer service for a start is wonderful, we get calls returned in a timely manner. When Zane came out he answered all our questions, the price was right. The installers today Robert and Gabe were exceptional very professional and knew what they were doing.It sure is nice to have such a great company in the Valley.

Our ac stopped blowing air while we had several guests on a June evening. ""105degrees that day "". We put a call into our home warranty around 9pm. They first set us up with Best in the West ac. I asked for another company due to an ahole technician in the past. The next on the list was A1. I did a quick search and was pleased to see they had good reviews. The next morning we called A1. They had already received the work order and set an appointment between 1 and 3. I was hoping it would be earlier, but was relieved it would at least be that day. I then received a call around 11am, saying there was an opening between 12 and 1 if I'd like to take it. Of course I took it! They actually showed up a few minutes early. When I arrived I met Sal and Miguel. Both of these guys were very polite, professional, and answered my questions. To top it off, they had my ac working in less than half an hour! I highly recommend A1, especially Sal and Miguel. Great guys.

Professional, efficient, quick response and 0% financing for 72 months on the Lennox AC we installed. Dominick spent extra time with us on the front end and Robert and Kyle installed the unit in less time than estimated.

Our heating system suddenly stopped working. Lenny came and saved the day. He was fast, sympathetic and efficient. He ordered the part and picked it up the same day. He called and arrived within an half hour once he had the part.
I am so grateful. I pray that Lenny is blessed abundantly because he sure was a blessing to me and my family.
